When I get calls like this, I pick up the phone, lay it down and let them waste their money on nothing.

them (their group), ten min. later I get a text saying they billed my credit card
for 24.95, called the card company right away to freeze the transaction, called
them back and they insisted I had joined???????? Be very careful, don't even
verify your mailing address..........................

It is from a form you submit online. When you are filling out job applications you need to click no thank you to furthering your education or stop using free job search engines. (They're not really free) Be careful where you submit your informatjion.

Uhhh, yup!  If someone ever calls you "claiming" to be someone and you don't recognize the phone number, ask for their number to call them back; google it and make sure it's legit.  Just use common sense.  If they are asking for your personal info and they should have it, don't just give it to them; and TELL THEM they have that info on record!  They don't need to "verify who you are" before speaking to you, you need to verify who they are!  Turn it around on them, ask them questions.

With someones name and alone, I can most often get their DOB, POB, relatives and friends info, email addresses, employers,  phone numbers... Add on top of that simply "what state you want to go to college in", and that just gives more info and with a combination of any of the above, it leads to a whole lot more info that if you care about your privacy, you reallly don't want to be giving anything to anyone you are not sure needs it for legit reasons.

I get some days 4-5 calls a day if I miss their calls or don't answer.  When I answer, they tell me they received my "online information."  When I ask what online information <because duh I already can tell it's a scam> and they just respond "from online" or some stupid, unprepared, uneducated answer.  They tried to talk to me about what kind of school training I am interested.  Obviously, I didn't' go there. When I ask them their company name, they hang up on me.  I called back a few days ago to request to be removed from the calling list <which is normally b.s.>. So I went through the motions, chose the "option 2" just like everyone else and I am still receiving consistent calls.  I have tried finding the company name or if they have a website.  Perphaps the rest of you reading these can play along and try to get as much info as possible, so we can all help each other; so we can at least figure out who to file our BBB complaint against.  I am definately uneducated in that department, perhaps someone else can educate me; perhaps we don't need the company name or state?  I know that posting random complaints on websites really doesn't help.  We need to figure out the regulatory entity I believe.  I tried calling back so I can play their game and they never answer the phone and I keep missing their calls.

I have received numerous calls from them claiming they received my "online form" and proceeded to ask me questions.  I asked them what form.  All they would say is "online form."  I know I haven't completed any online forms for any telemarketers.  I called the number back to try to speak to someone.  I chose the unsubscribe from calling list.  I still receive calls from the same numbers 4046/4047. Everyone here wants to keep giving people hope by telling them to choose #2 opt. Well, good luck, because it hasn't worked for me.

I been getting phone calls from this number, how can I get to stop?

This number just keeps calling my phone during business hours and doesn't leave a message. It is so annoying. I don't know who it is or what they want so I let it go to my voice mail only they don't leave a message. They need to get the hint and stop calling.

Keep receiving calls from this number - not interested in furthering my education. Wish they would stop calling me. I will not answer any numbers that I don't know - they don't leave a message either.

They called me claiming to be from my colleges student center asking for info. I was stupid and gave them the info they asked such as am I am u.s. citizen and my name. After I got off it seemed fishy that they would ask that since they should already have my records. So I googled the number and here I am. Should I be alarmed that I gave em basic info?

i have received at least 5 calls from this number on my cell phone and it rings twice then hangs ups.

This number calls me 3-9 times a day and hangs up.  Is there any way to make it stop?

This ph # keeps calling on a regular basis. I try to answer and they don't talk. They don't leave a message.  Tryed calling # back to say take me off there list, no answer. This has become very annoying and i want it stopped.

Receiving calls from 855 365 4046 but do not pick up.  Sometimes 2 to 3 times within a 7 day period. No messages being left.  Now I know why.  Thanks for the heads up.

I got a call this morning from this number. The person who spoke to me was TOM. He said he was calling from "Higher Education" and he was a education specialist. This happened at 9am. The guy started reading a script without even asking me if I had time to be talking to him. I was late for an appointment so I just said I will have to have him call me back later because at the time I did not know what all this meant. I think I also heard the name "Purdue University" - I've been looking for programs in uni's for the past few days. I'm sure these job/study websites just sell our info. to these third party companies. Otherwise, there's no way they could have gotten hold of my number

I have read people's posts and am nervous about either answering this number or calling them back because I don't want to get scammed out of money. Had anyone got any charges from this company on your phone bill? I too filled out info for employment online, learned my lesson... too late. I don't know what to do, Im hoping if I keep ignoring it they'll stop calling? By the way I'm really glad a website like this exist.

I received three calls from this number today simply because I filled out an on line application for employment in my area and now I,m being bombarded with calls from this number, I need employment Not further education!! This is wrong for schools or any other organization to try and take advantage of people when an income is the primary reason on line applications are being filled out in the first place.Whats next with these low life's? funerals? hey wanna go back to school after you bury your loved ones????

then press 2 again to have your number auto-deleted from the list

I received two calls in the course of an afternoon, I ignored the second one.  The girl identified herself in the first one stating that she received an application I filed to further my education.  I asked where she received it from, which she had no idea, it just appeared on her desk in the past 24 hours.  When I asked for a copy of the application, she asked me if I wanted to speak with her manager.  I replied that I did, and was promptly disconnected.

its a company that services prisons so if someone in jail calls you and there arent any funds on the acct the company from this number will call you and ask for a payment to recieve the calls ...thats all
