First, you tell him the call is being recorded. Second, you tell him he has 5 days to provide you with a letter of validation. If he refuses......Third, hang up on his scamming a** and ignore him. Don't answer or block his calls.
He's obviously a fraud who has gotten your personal information. Probably from off the net. He is not a process server. Process servers, whether they be private or deputies, do NOT call ahead of time. EVER! They also do NOT pass on messages. Of ANY kind. EVER! They are paid to serve legal papers. If you call someone to make "arrangements", the Process Server doesn't get paid. So, think about it!
If the caller was impersonating a law enforcement officer, call your local P.D. or County Sheriffs office. Law enforcement people take a really dim view of impersonators. You might get a rise out of them and they may actually do something for you. But I doubt it. When it comes to law enforcement lately, good help is hard to find!

I got a call tonight telling me my past address and that county had papers for a summens to serve to me. Then procedded to tell me my current address and that I needed to call this number to settle the legal matter. If I didn't I would have a warrent for my arrest and be expidited back to my orginal state of address. the number was 1855-368-1027 ext 214. The speaker was acting as a deputy for my previous county I lived in and when he told me whom the person serving the papers was if conviently broke up and I couldn't hear who the defendent was. All I got was the number and extension number. I then searched online to find who it is and this is the only thing I could find. Another call from someone else 5 days earlier with simular story. Scary! they know my address!

Received a call to cell, something about a bounced check from a loan apparently owed.
This guy said it was in 2010 and they were taking us to court if we didnt make a payment.
He gave his call back number as 855-368-1027 ext 214 and he had my social number..
Have no idea what its about but have read alot of things about companies buying past records
from old loans. We had a loan from a company back in like 08-09' but it was paid off.
