PC Financial, it's a sales/marketing call to tell you about their current promotions/deals (it happens to be RRSP season when I got this call...) and they probably do a survey first, wasting your valuable cell phone minutes.

I never answer any long distance calls.
These calls have a different ring pattern.
There will be a warning message that you will have to pay if you accept the call.
ID says CIBC, which would appear to be the CIBC bank, but it is NOT.

No message left called at 4:59 pm Friday Nov 1, and again 8:51 pm. Whose on the other end no answer. I said, why are you calling on a Friday evening, don't call back. Hung up. Can assume it's a telemarketer with this logo, above; however, will call main branch on Monday to get them to remove me from their calling list.

PC Financial (Canada). She had promotional interest rates and had all my info correct but I did not give out anything. Checked with the regular PCF number and it is legit.

Received several calls from this number, when I finally answered (after reviewing this thread), it is PC Financial offering promotional accounts. They had all of my information in front of them, so (like a previous thread said) it appears legit. Not calling for credit collection or anything like that.

It's PC Banking. The girl had my proper PC bank info in front of her, so it seemed legit, although I didn't verify anything and didn't sign up for anything. They're looking to sell you mutual funds, mortgages, and lines of credit. I declined all offers.

I`ve had a couple of calls from this number showing as CIBC so I called CIBC and talked to both the credit and banking sections and they have no record of anyone calling me (I have a PC financial account, credit card and mortgage so thought I`d check) so it`s some sort of scam.

Calls me all the time, caller ID says its from the USA, never leaves a voicemail.
If it is PC/CIBC as some folks have stated, I also bank there and don't owe them a dime.

got a call from these guys today. i didn't pick up. i'm in toronto. i use pc banking, and cibc owns pc, so maybe it was them? i never answer phone calls i don't know.
i'm in heaps of debt but i'm on a payment plan paying everyone back. they better not be bugging me for another penny, i don't have it.

Receive calls from (855-373-4049) when finally answered was told it was Presidents Choice Banking calling, hung up and will not answer any calls in future from Area Code 855. Another call received today from 855-465-4017 from XM radio telemarketer. Area Code (855) is a toll free number Telemarketers use freely with phone charges back to answerer. Its criminal and very annoying.

I'm Getting calls from this number to ( 855-373-4049) 8-9pm, comes up as cibc, but they never leave a message. They need to get serious with these b*****ds, throw them jail with phone that rings non stop!!

I have received calls in the last 4 days from them between 5-7 pm Atlantic time...I didn't answer and assume it is a new spam number!!

Have received 2 calls from this number, 1 yesterday, 1 just now. I did not pick up and no message is left. I live in Winnipeg (Canada) and have no reason to be getting calls from a US toll free number (which is the name that shows up on caller id).
