I got a call from the same number today. They told me my Chase debit mastercard was locked and said to press 1 to reactivate it. I did, and then it asked be to enter by card number. That's when I knew it was a scam and hung up. I called Chase immediately and they said it wasn't them, Chase would never call asking for my credit card number.

I just got a message saying "your debit mastercard has been locked, to reactivate it, press 1 and you will be transferred to our security department".

Same thing. I don't have a Chase debit Mastercard.

Got a call telling my that my Chase debit MasterCard was frozen. Was prompted to press 1 to talk to a representative or to press 2 to leave.

I don't have a chase debit MasterCard...phishing!

Got a call from this number this morning. A recorded message that says Chase Bank.
Their speech is that my debit Mastercard has been frozen and pressing "1" will connect me to the security department.
I do not have a Chase account anywhere so this is definitely a scam.

This could be related to the ebay breach as they did not get credit card numbers, but did get personal info.

I just got a call from this number too. Because of the previous post, I decided not to pick it up.

Got the message as well - said from Chase and that my debit Mastercard was locked... I don't bank with Chase and I don't have a Chase mastercard.  Hung up.  Not calling back.  AM calling my phone company to report them as a phishing #...

I just got the exact same message.

Got a call on my cell from 855-379-9749. Called the number 2x, got a recorded message saying this
number was either disconnected or no longer in service. (5-23-14)

Same as above just now.  Recoded message claiming to be "Chase Bank" - clearly not!  Definitely a phishing scam

Got a call from this number on my cell phone. A computer generated message claiming to be Chase Bank said my debit card had been frozen and I needed to press 5 to speak with an agent about my account. At first seemed like it could be legit, because I bank at Chase and they send daily account balances to my phone via text messages. Hung up and called my banker who stated the card is not frozen and it was most likely a phishing expedition.

Got a call from this number. A computer generated message said my Talmers Bank debit card had been frozen and I needed to call and provide my account info to reactivate my card. I'm not a customer of Talmers.  

Called this number back and no one there and no information provided in the outgoing message. Must be a scam.
