These people are calling my number and I am not the person they are looking for, I have already spoken to a Nicole /Dereck Galvin about not calling this number.

I got another call yesterday afternoon from a private number. My setting automatically reject these calls so of course I had a voice mail from Laura Edwards stating that the legal documents had been unfortunately rejected when the attempted to deliver the documents at my home address. The message then stated to avoid further legal complications I needed to contact Derrick Galvin at 855-381-5328 and left a case number. I of course have not contacted them because I'm waiting to hear back from an attorney. They also left a message on my sister's home phone. The part I left out regarding them contacting my supervisor is they asked her for the payroll department to discuss wage garnishment. What a joke. What they don't realize is that there is no wage garnishment for debt in Texas. This is obviously ridiculous but it bothers me that they are bothering other people in my life as well. I will post the recommendations from the attorney once I talk to him.

Calling a scammer back merely verifies your phone number is "live", and your number will appear on even more scammers' lists.

It is a scam.  The whole point is to get you to call them back, so they can intimidate you into paying either a bogus debt, debt that's already been paid off, or even a debt that is owed - but not to them.  Per the FDCPA, you should not pay any caller who refuses to mail - do not accept email, fax or phone - proof of debt/proof they have the legal right to collect said debt.  Refusal to mail this documentation within five days of their initial contact with you is a violation of federal law.  Calling and disclosing the reason for their call to your supervisor and sister is yet another violation of federal law.

In other words, no written, verifiable proof mailed to you, they can go pound sand, per the FDCPA.  Please do report them to the FTC and your state Attorney General.

You can call back and ask what it is about. I called and they said they could not handle anything over the phone then proceeded to call my supervisor and sister. I don't know what they want because they did not ask for money. I question why they are calling if they "can't handle anything over the phone". I've checked my credit to make sure there is no identity theft and there is nothing there. I have free legal consultation through my employer so I'm waiting to talk to an attorney just to get some advice on how to respond. I truly feel like this is some kind of scam.

I too got a call..first call was from 425-233-8747 same voice mail as stated above in other posts..telling me I will be served. then today I got a call from this number with a whole different case number Derrick Delvin reg trying to serve me papers to appear in court. I don't know if this is legit or if I should call  back. I think she said company was LDS..

They left a message at my work from Derrick Galvan with a case number and to call this number. I called and provided the "case" number. Was transferred to someone else who also asked for the case number. He proceeded to tell me I was being charged and sued for fraud. He has the last 4 digits of my social which was disconcerting. I told him I did not know what he was talking about and to send me paperwork. He said that I could just wait to get served with court papers. I told him that was fine and to give me the name of the agency and the address. He corrected me to say this is a law firm and the name is Brenden and Associates. I asked for the address and he said it was 7108 Katella, Stanton, CA 90681. When I looked up the address it is for a UPS store in Stanton, CA. I started to tell him not to contact me at work and he hung up on me. I guess I'll just wait to get "served". I'm not sure what the scam is because they did not offer to take money but it definitely does not seem legit.

They called my mom saying i was being sued for illegally over drafting a bank account that i closed and im being sued for fraud. I cussed the guy out and hung up. I really would like to know how they got my info though. They had 2 of my previous addresses,  the last 4 of my ss# and my credit statement.

A man named Derrick contacted my mother and grandmother claiming that my mom owed money to Bally Total Fitness and missed her court appearance. When I called back the unprofessional "lawyer" that answered the phone yelled at me and hung up on me for asking for an address.  I tried to call back, but it went straight to voicemail.

These people called my sister and said she owed for a credit card and if she didn't pay they would get her for fraud,! they had her name and last 4 of her ss#  . trying to settle for half of what it was .. why settle if your. going for fraud lol. idiots

These people have been calling all my family members a some people who aren't my family and lying saying I'm in trouble missed a court date and they need to give me legal papers..They are a dept collection agency harassing people trying to get money by any means necessary.. I wish they would give up already..They miss pronounced my name..and my husbands as well..They are dumb..

They claimed to be a copy trying to serve me papers to appear in court. They stated something about the attorney general and sited a case#. They didn't even have my name correct when they called.

Who did they say they were with? Are they legit
