No message left

they call and ask for the wife and when i asked them who was calling they said it was a courtesy call form the patrol. we don't do donations over the phone so i hung up.  they have call before and hung up before i answered. I am reporting it to local police tommorow and the phone company.

so i called this number to check it out... i let it ring for a while and it went to a busy tone and said "rejected" on my caller id.

they only reason why i called this number is because i got calls from 855 (of a different number) and did a google and this site popped up.

i think it started when i whistle blew on the feds... any of y'all f****d over the feds too?

It is the MT sheriffs dept.But?I already sent them a donation,just last September.
And?Seeings that we have a Sequester?They are going to have to learn to get by on nothing like the rest of us.

wish I knew how to block this...calls 5-6 times a week...very annoying...tried calling number back...no answer...

This man said he was soliciting for paramedics/EMT's.  Said no and he began yelling at me!

I have no idea who this is that is calling but today alone I got 4 calls so far. Starting at 8am. I no longer answer my phone unless I recognize the number because I am sick of the number of calls begging for money. At first the calls from this number when going through the answering machine all it was was a dial tone. Now they are actually hanging up when the answering machine gets to going. I wish to heck they would take a hint already.

I have received several calls from this number up to four in one day!  I tried calling back and it just rings and rings and rings.  They don't leave a message.  I wish I could block them but unfortunately iPhone does not have a block feature.  I will just ignore them.

This number calls one or two times a day. The pitch used to be for EMT's, then Police Association, then Firefighters. Told them to stop calling 6 months ago! Now just harrass by ringing and no one talks, or they leave a voice mail of heavy breathing.  Creepy!!!

This year it was again from the Police Benevolent Assoc.

They are an agency hired by whomever to solicit funds for that organization.  That is what the guy told me last year.  This year, however, they wouldn't take no for an answere.

After weeks of ignoring this toll free number on caller id, I finally wanted to see who was so persistent that they would keep calling.  It was a representative for the Police Benevolent Assoc. soliciting for money.  I had already declined helping this year so they should have stopped calling.  After giving my excuses this year, he then asked to donate for money to help stop bullying.  Flat out "no".  If this continues, I will contact the head of the Police Assoc.

Just Got a call from 1-855-383-1866, that guy just said that he is calling from Maryland Sheriffs Assn, yeah right, it's a scam!!

These sammers are geting on my nerves already, calling every day and when i pick up my phone, they would just hang up right away, tired of that B***S***  already!!

We get calls daily from this number.  Our message machine never gets all the way through our message before the call is disconnected.  When we call back, there is never an answer.

yup, same here.  this phone number has called me several times per day, all times, morning, afternoon & evening.  no one speaks, there is one click similar to an autodialer and then NOTHING!!  Very frustrating.  My phone carrier could NOT give me information about who owns the phone number, but they DID block the number from my phone, so I won't be bothered again by this phone number.  Seriously, this has gone on for more than a week!

They just keep calling. who are they? can you stop them?

Same thing here, they claim it is for some police thing that he gave money for which he didn't.  They want to know if they can send him something, I think it is some sort of scam

They call 2 or 3 times a day. Have told them they have the wrong #, no one lives here by that name and to take us off their list and put us on the do not call list. They continue to call. Always ask for my husband. When I say he's not here & take a msg. Man says a thank you call then calls back later to solicit $. Supposedly by the Paternal Order of Police. Why doesn't their name show up on the caller ID if that is who they are. Even St. Jude's will do that. We were getting these calls by "out of area" listing on the caller ID. When I confronted them they started with this no.#. I want them to stop. I don't believe they are who they are or they wouldn't harrass people like they do!!! By the way my dad was a cop! Shot in the line of duty so I would be the 1st to support this cause IF I knew they were who they say they are.

This number calls my business multiple times a times day & night. Last night I answered: stated my businesses name and how could I help. They asked for someone who was not here and I replied, how could I help them. Then she got on with the niceities..."What is your name, and how are you this evening.... I didn't answered, but repeated the name of the business and asked how I could help. She then told me that SHE was going to call the BBB and called me a B**** and hung up.

The answering machine picked up, they said nothing and then hung up, BLOCKED now

let the machine pick it up, since it was a 800 number on a sunday. No message left .. if he calls again I will block him ;-)

They asked for my husband too. Did some checking and it has to do with porn. I used a dog whistle the next time they called--it works--but after a couple of weeks they will try again. A dog whisle is really loud and a lot cheaper than an air horn.

This caller calls 1-3 times per day.  When I answer he asks if my husband (specific and correct name) is there.  He usually is not but this individual does not leave a message--SO ANNOYING!

She has given money to the South Dakota Sheriff?s Association in the past. I like the idea of the air horn, we are going to purchase one this afternoon. If nothing else, I can ?annoy? them for a change.
