This lady calls my house looking for my brother stating this call is regarding a certified pending lawsuit with a case number and that they will b auditing his assets.  First of all my brother does not have s*** or a pot to piss in.  That's the truth.  So if you idiots are reading this, you have been made.  Lmao.  

Got a call from a Marcus Milligan saying he represent the state of la. Court system and gave me a case # la11060, but the # was restricted and he gave this # to call back.

Marcus Rivers called from an unknown # and told me to call another #, 855-390-4717.
Told me to give them case # LA11749 by 4:00 today or someone will come to my house I think he said to serve papers or arrest me.

Left a message claiming someone was filing a lawsuit against me and was giving me "courtesy" before diving into my financials. Also called my mother-inlaws house. Glad I looked up the number before calling them back.

They are not going to show up. Scare tactic. They obtain the last 4 of your SSN when they buy old debts from other bottom feeders. By law, they are required to state they are collecting a debt and must leave the company name. If you have call blocking, block the number. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY PERSONAL INFO and DO NOT SEND $$. (Most of the time, they will tell you to buy a pre-paid credit card, like GeenDot) .Check your bank account regularly. Call the bank and ask to be notified if there are any electronic withdrawals.  And, most of all, don't freak out-that's what they are counting on to scam you out of cash!!!!

Received messages on cell and home phone threatening to show up at my employers and my home. They did not leave a name or the name of the business. When I called the provided number I asked for company info and was provided none and put on hold instead. This was definitely the same man who had left messages and when confronted about it, he said that his nameless company did not make outgoing calls. He had my SSN and bank account info.

The idiot left a message at a relatives home providing no details and I'm highly annoyed.
