Got a call from a lady who was calling all over my office for me and a co-worker got me on the phone to talk to this lady her name she said is Maja Gonzales a private locator and that I had charges pending againist me and she had papers for me I told her to come and bring them that the guard would let her in
also I ask her for the name of her company she said she do not have one. I also ask her for her phone
number she said I didn't need to know that.  So i called the 855-391-3715 and talk to some lady she said i owe this company that i had done business with back in march I told her i had paid them and told her to send me proof she kept saying I 'm refusing to handle this and i would have to pay triple what is owed right now.  I will have to go to court i told her I would go to court and show the Judge i paid and she said she could knock off the locator fee of $200 if i handle it today.   this is a fraud and a scam even if you owe someone you don't go to jail for.

It's very easy to get peoples' personal financial information from hacked sites, disreputable companies selling said info, etc.  NEVER pay any caller who says you owe a debt unless they MAIL (not valid via email or fax) proof that you owe a debt and that they have the legal right to collect said debt.  Refusal to mail this documentation means that per the FDCPA (Fair Debt Collection Practices Act), you owe them NOTHING.

Debt is civil, not criminal, so there would be NO charges "pending".  Sounds like a typical scammer, trying to scare you into paying a bogus debt.  Report the caller to the FTC, FBI, Dept of Justice and your state's Attorney General.

My sister got a call from these people asking her if she was me. She said no, and the woman said that there were charges pending on me and they were going to show up at my house with papers with a docket number. My sister was in an uproar and called me, and in return, I called them and talked to a woman named Ashley who was part of the "processing" center. When I told her that someone was harassing me and that they were a scam, she promptly hung up on me.

What number did they call from & what was the phone number they left? I too received a call yesterday &  the company they said sent them the files is no longer in business. How do they get all of personal information from that person if they are no longer in business? Where would the money  & file go if a business is no longer active? just wondering...

Got a threatening call yesterday about some "charges pending" guys name was Ryan Anderson & when I call the number back he left it was a generic message & only open from 7-4.
