I should add that the rep from TD Card Services said that if ever you feel uncomfortable giving out your credit card number, always call the number on the back of your card. Both departments have access to the same information.

Called TD Card Services and they verified that this number is indeed TD's Fraud Detection dept.

Received phone call from this number stating they were TD card services - they provided info on a potential fraudulent charge.  We called the number on the back of the card and they also confirmed the fraudulent charge.

I got this call as well, I'm never comfortable with the amount of information they require. I called the number on the back of the card and the TD representative verified the number was from them. Still not comfortable with giving them the info at that number, I would never advise calling any number but the one on the back of your card.

I think this is a legit number.

I got a voice mail, saying like everyone else that there was suspicious activity on my card. Called back, and they asked for the 16-digit card number, which i refused to give. When I called the number on the back of my card, I was told that there HAD been a fraudulent charge on my card and there was a security hold. I was issued a new card.

Bottom line: Don't give your information to anyone calling you. Call the number on the back of the card.

I also got this same call (1-855-395-4109) but confirmed with TD Bank and it was someone that called on their behalf.  They confirmed everything that the caller did.  Thank you for posting this so that I would check.  All is good.

got a call from "TD Bank' about recent activity on my credit card.  They had the last 4 digits of my card correct.  Googled the #(855-395-4109) and reverse looked up it -- no info available for reverse look up but lots of complaints about calls from "TD Bank".   It's not them -- have reported the number to the bank for their fraud department to investigate.

Called TD bank after this number called me. This is a fraudulent number it is not TD bank.

Got the same call, but TD customer service could not find this number in the company. It is better to call the number at the back of your card to verify the statements, not this one.

I just got a call saying this was TD Bank calling to verify a recent purchase.  But when I call the number back, it's an automated answer that does not say TD Bank, and I'm asked to hold for the next available representative.  Seemed suspicious to me, so I hung up and googled the number.   Anyone else have this issue?
