There newest telephone number is 855-519-9523 and 855-453-1018 guy named Frank Collins. Calling work informing HR and Receptionist has important documents for me to sign. When I called back asking for fax# for Cease & Desist all of a sudden no numbers that can be given out, nor is there even a Case# if there were actual court documents being served! However, they were dumb enough to leave me a detailed voicemail with their threats including the fact that my voicemail sends me a text with all of the verbiage. No worries on my end!

Consolidated tracked down me, my sister and my dad across the country yesterday about a claim on my dad.  The number they called from was 855-441-6195.  Same story as the folks above noted.  Said they were a pre-litigation firm and could only speak to my dad.  They did know his birth year.  I hope he did not give them any account numbers or his SS.  He has mild dementia and I am worried.

After doing a lot of home work there is one thing in common about Consolidated aka Consolidated Mediation Group or Firm, Global, Maverick whatever they choose to call themselves.   This company appears to be a junk debt buyer and there loans can be traced in part back to a company called United Debt Holdings LLC who are accredited with the BBB.  UDH outsource all of it's collections and claim not to be a collection agency. But you will never guess, every complaint against UDH on accounts that they pass to these collection companies all have the same M.O.  They claim they are not a collection company but a pre litigation firm and employ so called locating companies to serve you with papers.  Every single company mentioned in the complaints make the exact same threats to have a person arrested or prosecuted with fraud and engage in the exact same form of harassment and it is harassment.   They have a slick system in place, they refuse to provide you with any written evidence of the debt you allegedly owe! Won't give a mailing address! This is all done for a reason as they believe they can operate outside federal consumer protection laws.  And if you don't have a mailing address for them then they can't be served with any complaints!!!    If they want you to make a payment arrangement or make a payment that is collecting a debt !!!!   A pig with lipstick is still a pig!!!! they are attempting to collect a debt which makes them a debt collector!  One complaint I was able to trace back to Consolidated filed with BBB at the P.O 1844, Los Angeles, CA 90001. Surprised, surprise the company could not be reached!  There's a shocker!!!

Here are some names of so called employees and I'm sure they are fake names  Judy White - Locating Service -  Consolidated: Adam White, Alicia White (seems they like the name White) Patrick Schwartz, Patrick Thomas.     Report this company to your Attorney General's Office and the FTC it is the only way this company and other like them will be held accountable!

I had the same experience. Two weeks ago I had the same calls from a different number and company and I eventually told them press the charges that will lead to wage garnishment. Their threats arent possible to becared out in the same court system. Then today I started receiving calls from this same number, the same type of threats all threatening to press federal charges against me over debts resolved in an identity theft case I had 4-5 years ago.

I spoke with the Attorney Generals Office and they advised me to not give any information ...  This is fradulant.

This company is a scam. They have been calling my in-laws for months trying to get a hold of my husband. finally they called us and told us they would be serving him papers if he doesn't straighten this matter out. they wont give any information and they are very threatening. they say things like he is in serious trouble and has judgements against him, if he doesn't resolve this issue he is going to pay. we haven't gotten to the bottom of this yet but we do know that there are no judgments against him per the county or state.

they do this every year right around income tax time. When we ignore it they go to  my inlaws and harass them non stop. They have threatened to have us arrested and keep saying that someone is coming to serve us papers and going to inlaws house.  it is extremely stressing everyone out.

they also called me today 10 times and a pi is going to serve me papers today at my house and im waiting when she comes cause the police is waiting for them

they refuse to tell me who the debit is supposedly with and told  they do not need to give me any information and that thier is no law saying they need to give me information-or proff of anything  I called back againand asked fro web site anbd address -  got a PO box 3362 LA,CA 90001 - they said they have no web site- threaten to have me served ,arrested and so on

I am getting same calls, except from 855-842-0188, when i looked up the number, it says it was re-established March 26, 2012. They say they are Consolidated, a mediation firm at po box 8144 in los angeles...

I'm getting the same calls! This man calls himself Lou Varadee and has called me 3 times now, on the last message saying it was my final notification and unless he received a release form today from the mediation company that he'd be seeing me tomorrow either at my home or place of employment. He's also been calling family members of mine, ones I rarely talk to and certainly wouldn't have used as a reference for anything! I feel very violated...What should I do? Just ignore the attemps?

I had a horrific call yesterday at work.  Some bottom feeder by the name of Erik Jones decided that it was his day to hassle someone and that he did.  I work the front desk at my job for a school that caters to children with autism.  Not only did he repeatedly call me back after I said do not call here again, he then harassed my co-workers horribly.  He told me that he was coming over to serve me papers along with the authority and then would talk with my HR director.  It's very sad that people like this exist on this earth. It's unfortanate that there is not a better way of monitoring this kind of slim that make someone scared and nervous for their jobs.  I would almost do anything to find this creep and make sure that he stops doing it to anyone else.  Any input? By the way, it was the Consolidated number that he gave to the Attorneys office that is now looking for these creeps.

Consolidated Mediation is a complete scam.  They will not give you an address or provide you with proof that they can legally collect the debt they are contacting you about.  All they will do is tell you they are going to sue you and press charges.  They cannot press charges in a civil case.  I asked for information on when they would serve me as my SS number was stolen and used to take out online payday loans.  They would not give me the info and would not tell the city, state or county they were filing in.  Something seemed wrong from the first time they contacted me but the more I looked into it the more questions I had that consolidated mediation could not /  would not answer.   I called the FBI and they said this is a common scam, they are either hacking databases to illegally collect debts or they sole my SS# and took out the loans and that  is how they have the info they do.
FBI advised me to hang up on them and ignore their calls.  DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO.
Go to the FTC website and know your rights, if they are legit they will work with you if you know your rights.

I got a call a month ago and set up to make monthly payments from a Mediation Firm.... I got in touch with a lawyer who told me it's illegal and fraudelent. So I changed bank accounts. The payment didn't go through. I got another call today from another Mediation firm saying this is my "last" warning and I have charges pending... TOTAL CRAP!!!

I have received 2 calls from this "firm" yesterday and today. Different # however 877-522-7561
persons name was Bernard Watson. Very threatning. I don't owe anyone any money,save normal household monthly bills. They are paid on time every month... Thanks be to God. I have called the Colorado State attorney Generals office as he told me the debt was in Colorado. This is frightning stuff that debt collectors can do this to people.... even if folks owe money they should not have to be threatened like this.  OH he claimed to be representing ADR Mediation group

We have gotten a call from the same number.  It was a woman with the same threat of sending someone to our home and this was our final notice.  Blah Blah Blah-----They are scavengers looking for somebody that is crazy enough to fall for their threats.

I received basically the exact same message.  I remember a year or two back getting a similar call.  I spoke to an attorney and he said that it is most likely a scam.  I am just wondering if any one here has gotten "served with papers" as Stan Jacobs says we will?  I checked my county clerk website and there have been no Orders or anything else filed against me.

i just received a VERY threatening message from this same number by a man named Ray Alvarez. My claim number is 118658.  Who are these people and what do they want!!!!???  I think we should all get together and sue them

I got a message from my daughter telling me that a man left me a message. I listen to the message, a man name Stan Jacobs. saying that he needed me to call to verify my address or place of employment, also saying a charge was placed against me and that I had one chance to call and that I have been  officially notified. The tone was in a threatening manner. He gave me a number 855-403-3853. He did not provided  any other info, like the company he was calling for a id number, but left a claim number 117510. I later found out the it was Consolidated Mediation Firm. I called to get additional info so that I can pass it on to a lawyer, concerned what this matter was all about. I called but it routed me to a automated system, I left a message and received a call back from a woman, when I got the message, I return it immediately, again a automated system, but have not received a response since.

I have also gotten calls from a guy who tells me I need to call this number that is Consolidated -- a mediation firm handling the claim against me. He says my claim number is 118006 and that there are fines pending.

Unfortunately for them, i am an attorney in Washington,DC, and now plan to make it my mission to track this company down if these calls continue.

They called me and talk to my minor children stating that they were going to press charges against me and gave out information.  But when I did call back they couldn't tell me anything about the company.  How funny that they can do that.  They have broken FCDPA law and I will press charges against me.

They are just calling random numbers, they called my grandmothers number and I never use my grandmothers number for any of my information that I use unless it is about my kids as far as a emergency contact. Someone stole my check book over 6 yrs ago and I told them the issue. I did not file a police report because nothing was taken. When I found out about the issue I told them that I had nothing to do with that because my check book was stolen I was told by their company that I should have had a police report and if I don't then oh well I will be responsible. And they will be serving me soon!! But this is not the first company they just continue to sell that debt to various companies after I explain the issue they tellght it in time so no I shouldn't have. I got a call from a private number that told me to call this number or I would be prosecuted for fraud of a financial institution.  Said I owed a payday loan.  I knew I didn't because they said it was Sept of 2008 when I applied for the loan.  But I knew I had never taken one out after 2007. Plus hurricane Ike hit that month and I had just moved on 9/1/2008 so it was easy to remember.  They had information about me and friends of mine that was almost convincing but I told I thought it was fraud and I would give up anything until they tell me who the company was andd show me proof.  At any rate I hung up. looked up Fraud info and here is what I found on

Telephone Collection Scam Related to Delinquent Payday Loans

12/01/2010?The IC3 receives a high volume of complaints from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams. In these scams, a caller claims that the victim is delinquent in a payday loan and must repay the loan to avoid legal consequences. The callers purport to be representatives of the FBI, Federal Legislative Department, various law firms, or other legitimate-sounding agencies. They claim to be collecting debts for companies such as United Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Net, and other Internet check cashing services.

One of the most insidious aspects of this scam is that the callers have accurate information about the victims, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, employer information, bank account numbers, and names and telephone numbers of relatives and friends. The method by which the fraudsters obtained the personal information is unclear, but victims often relay that they had completed online applications for other loans or credit cards before the calls began.

The fraudsters relentlessly call the victim?s home, cell phone, and place of employment. They refuse to provide to the victims any details of the alleged payday loans and become abusive when questioned. The callers threaten victims with legal actions, arrests, and in some cases physical violence if they refuse to pay. In many cases, the callers even resort to harassment of the victim?s relatives, friends, and employers.

Some fraudsters instruct victims to fax a statement agreeing to pay a certain dollar amount, on a specific date, via prepaid visa card. The statement further declares that the victim would never dispute the debt.

These telephone calls are an attempt to obtain payment by instilling fear in the victims. Do not follow the instructions of the caller.

If you receive telephone calls such as these, you should:
?Contact your banking institutions;
?Contact the three major credit bureaus and request an alert be put on your file;
?Contact your local law enforcement agencies if you feel you are in immediate danger;
?File a complaint at www.IC3.gov.
