They told me that I had bad checks... called me from several different #s, stating that Bad Checks can be persued for both civil and CRIMINAL prosecution... When I called I let the lady know that I myself was a Collector of PD loans. She told me that I had an attitude, and to not call again, and GOOD LUCK WHEN I GET SERVED WITH DOCUMENTS.. I called back, she answered and hung up on me because she recognized my phone #.. Called back and spoke with a gentleman Jack, who was nice, and he said that they are not even suppose to be dealing with accts in my area because of the general attny in my state. I had advised him that it is completely ILLEGAL to say they are going to serve me with documents. Told them to obsolve the debt and that I will not be paying it because of their illegal practices... Jack adv that it would be ou tof their office, gave them my email address so that they can send me a statement with that info, said that he will give it to his sup... I will be Following UP with them if I dont receive that in the next few days...

I was reading your post and if these debit collectors make any threats or are calling you more than 2x's per day you have the right to file a lawsuit against them. I would write down the date, time and who the caller is and if in any way record the call- if you answer the phone , I would start by saying: this is "say your phone number" and this conversation will be recorded- then proceed to ask they what this is in regards to: this way you are being honest that the conversation and take that to court!

Received a voice message from 855-714-3334- stating they were doing an investigation against "me" of course I had no clue what this was about- so I called he number back after looking up the company- they stated I had a Ace Cash Express loan and I had submitted a check from my bank that had been returned- funny because I sued Ace Cash Express for withdrawing on my account without permission and found they were doing this 2x's per week. I won my case and only received the loan paid off with additional $650.00 which they took without any notification.. Just be careful when you call because law states if you answer a bill collector they can place that date in collections and you will be stuck for 7 years on your credit. Never say your name on your voice mail either this will give them more search power etc.. I use to work in collections and there are alot of things people should know and made aware of your rights!!

So today my daughter received a call from 855-420-2387 and it was Rose Taylor saying all of the above looking for me.  I see a lot of its a scam don't call.  Could it be something I should be concerned with or just ignore it?  I really don't want my daughter to receive any more calls.  This is a little scary.

Recevied the same phone call with the same message that RedDevil's grandmother received.  The call back number I was given was 855-420-8299 for the Acquired Capital Management headquarters.  The message I recieved was also from "Rose Taylor".  Definite scam.

This is a scam do not send them money or give them ur info they callin sayin the work for the loan people and when we called the loan place they said they dont know who the hell these people are they just takein ur money dont answer ur phone for them or give them ur info we are suein them now for this u wont get away with stealing people money no more yall bout to see how if feels to steal from people have a good life yall some sick peopl

I received a call back number the same as yours when my husband called said disconnected when I called got a recording for Capital loss management I believe. When the guy called me from this number said his name was Micheal Williams funny how a lot of scammers use the last name Williams. This person seemed American I usually get foreigners but left message saying  I could get arrested and he hopes he don't have to come to my place of work or residence. Wow right the nerve.  I registered our numbers at the government do not call list it's free and they let you register up to three numbers per email verification. Hope this helps I am still researching them as well.

Received a call from a "Private" name and number for my grandmother but after some investigation of "Acquire Capital Management" I found this page.  Sounds like the same story I've been reading on here...locating firm received fax, formal complaint being served, contact mediation company (Acquire) to resolve... the only difference between my instance and what has been reported here is the call back number they gave as (866) 967-5815.  Person leaving message was named "Rose Taylor".

I received a call from thse people 855-403-3859 actual a person was a locator regarding paperwork they gave me the number to call i researched the number before calling they are actually handling payday loans from ace cash which i was familiar with  my info was verified as i remembr the loan they set me up with a payment plan they were extremely pleasant to work with

My uncle got a call from 855-403-3859 these people stated that they were trying to get ahold of me due to some legal litigations. I researched this number only to find out that this is a place that targets new business owners trying to get banking info to drain accounts!!! If they can't reach the business owner they do a peoples search and get a list of people that the owner is related to. At that point they call everybody on the list and leave a message about how their trying to reach "the business owner" DO NOT call them back DO NOT give them any info!!! I reported these a***oles to the cops and the BBB!!!

In our case, this was legit. It is a collection agency, Aquired Cash Management, for Ace Cash Advance, regarding the loan my mother took out and forgot to repay. I called, with verification by mother to speak with them. I was familiar with the possibility, but gave no info out, but gave some leading questions to verify them. Came out all good. Arranged a resonable payment plan for a woman on SS...Also told them up front that I had info that they could be a scam, and that they would have to verify themselves first...Which they did.

Got a call today saying I had an outstanding loan that needed to be paid asap. I was told to go to Walmart and get a prepaid card load the money on it and call him back with the number so he could take care of the loan...I called the place my loan is through and they told me they've never heard of this company and it was a scam!

Received a call from a person stating they were a locater looking to bring me documents they gave me the number 855 403 3859 to call i was a bit skeptical cause the number was blocked but i called it anyways they had information from a loan i took out a year ago that i forgot about .they offered me a payment plan that was much more affordable than the original terms. i wanna Thank these people for helping me resolve my loan

Go there in person or you call the number you have and ask them or even call telecheck they will tell you if you have a bad check out

They tell everyone they owe them just to get your information. DO NOT GIVE INFO OVER THE PHONE TO ANYONE. They called my sister trying to convince her she has a loan and then called me not knowing I was related and tried with me. NEVER GIVE OUT PERSONAL INFO OVER THE PHONE OR THROUGH THE MAIL IF YOU DONT KNOW THE PLACE.

DO NOT give them info!!!! They are fake, they tell everyone they owe money to get your info. If you know you dont have a loan then DO NOT give your info to these people! I know this because they called my sister tried doing her the same way then not knowing I was related they called me told me the same.

I have received a phone call from this number.I do have a delinquent payday loan that I have paid on for two years that With all the payments I have made,I have actually repaid the borrowed amount several times.I believe this is where it is from.It is Allied Cash AdvanceI do not remember ever writing a check to these people and my papers don't indicate that.I am afraid of what might happen if they in fact do have a check from me.

I have received over 20 voice messages from this phone number 855-403-3859. They never ask for anyone who lives in my house but they do ask for someone else that I do know. When they call they tell the person they are trying to contact to refer to a file number but has not left a clear name of who they are (or suppossed to be).

The last call I received from them I picked up the phone and only heard a ringing sound as if it were an electronic device on the other end. I looked up the 855 area code to find that charges for the call are charged to the recipient of the call not the caller so I am contacting my phone provider.

This is obviously a scam a bunch of losers who are trying to steal from hard working people and trying to get something for nothing (very sad, I would hate to be  their parents)! If there is some kind of action that is going against them I would love to be included.

This is a collection firm for Ace Check Cashing who gives payday loans.  They verified the last four digits of my ss# but had the wrong phone number and references.  They are sending me a demand notice so I can dispute it because I think my identity was stolen.

Scam .... very similar occurance to one reported above.  Caller stated she'd given the opportunity to respond but since  the person she'd asked for hadn't,  they had no choice but to come out and deliver these legal documents to either personal residence or place of business. if you have any questions please notify the mediation firm involved at 855 403 3859 and then gave a file number for reference.  

This msg was left on general delivery mailbox at place of business but it was for someone who has not worked here for over 5 yrs now.  She is however a friend & this sounded fishy so I looked up number here & needless to say, no one will be returning the call.

Called cell ph today stating i have bad checks out gave me ph# 855-403-3859 and claim # sayin they guna serve me papers.which i just opened a new check acct 2 months and have NOT written any checks at this time nor do i have in checks in my possession since i do everything with bank card and online.he left his name as matt walker.

Called my cell looking for someone else-impersonating a law officer -giving me a case number and telling I needed to call them to assist in their investigation-I called them to ask them to stop calling-they called 5 MORE TIMES within an hour--one was actually a male mocking me and stating"stop calling my cell phone-stopp calling my cell phone"   Have filed complaints with my state and the FTC-although I am doubtful anything will come of it---am sueing them now for the 200.00 amount allowed in my state plus fees----uh yeah  who will be pranking who now???

They called left a msg on my machine, asking for Gwendolyn Shiver, i called them back from my cell phone, after I blocked my caller id, I told them they had the wrong number, gave them the id # 113088, They asked for my number so they could take it off their list, which proves they were fishing. i hung up.

received a call from  Rebecca Gems or James. She stated she received a fax this morning in her office. this morning that looks like a formal complaint about some bad checks. She has been ordered to come out and deliver these apperance documents. but has not been able to reach me by phone. So she can schedule a good time and place to meet. ASKING ABOUT SOMEONE THAT IS NOT ME SAYING THEY HAVE HOT CHECKS OUT WHEN I CALLED BACK TO ASK ABOUT IT THEY SAID THEY WOULD NOT REMOVE MY NAME OR NUMBER. THEY STATED THEY ARE A MEDIATION FIRM.
