'Supposed" Investigation phone - does not take incoming calls from the local number they called from. Not local at all. Extortionists, crock, bottom feeders, and overall FTC non-compliant. Am going to report today. Forget the BBB. Report to the FTC and by all means do NOT engage them----ever. They were stupid enough to leave threatening voice mails on my phone as well so I saved them. Idiots.

They called me from a local number - every day, at least three times and leave at least one message a day.. I never have and never will pick up their call. You do the same. Idle threats, rude behavior. Don't be intimidated. They have no real clout except big mouths.

This may be an extortion scam where scammers use bought/hacked/phished loan application data to extort payments for fictitious debts from victims and victims' families and friends.

I received a voicemail message at my Mothers and at my google voice phone number from 855-405-9167 stating that he had received an order against me and needed to verify my address and place of employment to send the notice to. Or to serve me. I have no clue who these people are.

I literally JUST got off of the phone with these people, except it was a woman. I told her I knew it was a scam, even though she read off my ss#. She said I would just be picked up to go to jail if I didnt confirm my address to be served...curious where they intend to pick me up from if they cant even serve me??? She said it was from an old loan in 2007. I have ZERO outstanding loans. I applied online for one ONCE (about 4 months ago) and was DENIED. A day later- LOAN POINT USA tried to debit my account for 380 dollars. I alerted my bank and they monitored my account and closed it for me. And told me that these online loan companies commit illegal practices constantly. There is no judge that would allow these claims from these types of companies in his court room. Not only that- but HAD I gotten a loan (and I didnt)- I am in TEXAS and they cannot just take you to jail for non payment of a debt. In Texas, nobody can even file a lein on your property for non payment of a loan or credit card. These people prey on people who are naive and dont know any better. Im not gonna lie, I came very close to falling for it until I realized that they cant press charges without a receipt or bounced check or contract. Which I know they have none of. Loan point, and Mia Shaw and Allstate Mediation is a SCAMMMM!!!!!! Oh and anything you find on the internet stating they were actually taken to court is usually false blurbs, set up by the people these places employ.

Was called @ 1200pm today... By a Robert Allen, stating he had a file of charges claimed against me but wouldnt say what they were for. Gave me a file # to reference when calling the 855-693-3682 # and said that if I did not call soon to remedy the matter that there would be paperwork sent to me at my place of residence or place of employment. They said I would go to court if I didnt respond and that the phone call was my formal notice of the processes being put forth. He never said the name of the company the debt was from, nor did he say the name of the company he was with, or the name of the company that I was to call regarding the matter. At 8pm tonight I called the number on the message left on my phone and whenI called, the voiceservice said it was Allstate Mediation and to enter an extension if known or "0" for the operator. I pressed "0" and was led to a voicemail box stating the persons were away from the desk or busy at the moment, and to leave a message with teh file# and contact number and they would return the call the next business day.  Now by law, they have 5 days to mail a letter to me stating what its all about but by reading statements from other people, they do not send anything to anyone until you give them bank account information.. Some people say they were taken to court and garnished the wages for the debts not paid, others say the company is fake and that no one should believe what is being "said" as they are a scamming company that doesnt have any jurisdiction to do anything... I google the company and nothing comes up but the complaints made on other sites.. I have no problem paying bills (when i can afford to) but I wont give out personal information, especially bank info to anyone... I will send you money when I can, you are not going to take it from me before I get to know why you are calling me... I am curious as to how valid these threats were....

Eddie you are full of crap and work for these low life scam artists.  Your company is like the 3rd or 4th one that has tried to 'scare' me into paying.  They say things like "we'll send the police to your home or your job"  well go ahead!  Your scare tactics are without merit.  When you call the number the recording is generic w/o a company name.  Your company purchased my information from a bad payday loan and now you are trying to scare me into paying!  You know what I say?? Come get me!!

I got a call from these people at my place of employment and I looked up the number and read all the reports about it being a scam so I didnt call back in. 2 hrs later a locator showed up to my job and gave me a court order to appear in court. My court date hasnt got here yet, but it is about to come up. I will let you know what happens when it arrives.

Same thing happened to me - this is a new type of scam but we can report it so i am going to look into it. It is illegal and I won't put up with it. They messed with the wrong kid.

They just called me at my place of business, said that I had to pay so much and could only have 3 months to pay off something that was owed.  Said they were leaving in 30 min to call back before they left, and if I get served there is no longer anything they can do about it.  They had all of my personal information.  I have looked up what they called AllState Mediation, and there is no listing.  The number doesn't exist.  I don't like people having my personal information.  The first person that called said I was informed of a lawsuit and good luck as well.

Heather - I received the same exact message and that they were coming to place of employment to serve me and if can't get me there they are coming to my home.  However, stated I could rectify the situation if I called the plantiff with the case #.  I am not buying it, I would have received a letter or it would show up on the credit report if I owed something, but I don't know anything or recall this.  I called the number with #67 from a different number so they couldn't trace and harass me, and the automated message said thank you for calling Allstate, but I don't believe it is the insurance company.

These people say they are from Allstate Mediation Firm?? When researching the phone # and the business name, everything comes up as fraudulent. But after talking with them, they seem to know every detail about me and want me to send them money that I owed like 8yrs ago. But I had already paid it off years ago from another company that contacted me.

said i have been informed of a law suit and good luck gave this # to call back with a case #.  We have been victims of identity theft in past and i do not trust phone #s that don't have a company name.  did reverse lookup and said # doesn't exist.
