I keep getting a call from 18777223660 stating they are a debt collector and when I called back and asked for a debt validation they hung up.
It appears they are at it again with a new telephone number. Got a very suspicious call today from someone claiming to be Check Systems. They said this was their final attempt to contact me prior to prosecution. Since I have no loans this seemed odd so I looked on the internet as I was on hold. Thankfully I found these posts before I got a hold of a real person. New number is 877-722-3660.
This is in addition to my previous post...
The scary part of the call I got from Adam Claybow is that he knew the name of a previous street I lived on and also the name of an actual payday loan company that I had dealt with a few years ago. He sounded very professional. That's why I thought it was legit.
I was contacted by phone from someone named Adam Claybow (585) 730-6155; stating that he is with Chex Systems, notification department regarding an old cash advance account and was contacting me before he sent my case to the legal department. I feel that this may be fraudulant. They setup a withdrawal through American Mutual Holdings, Inc eSign document to make an electronic debit in a few days. I need to know if I need to stop this transaction.
I'm just glad it's not the "OMG" offender. Tired of that!
Carla is the same shill, scammer, that is so often seen on various threads typing in upper case.
Different name, same dumbass.
Hey "Carla" - is your mommy proud of your potty mouth??? Why don't YOU stop shilling and get your cap lock fixed? It seems to be stuck.
Can you prove anyone didn't? And who are you shilling for there Carla? Why don't you list up the legal name and address and real phone number of these "debt collectors" and show us some cases won even? How about a web site and maybe BBB page? After all, if they are legit, they should not be afraid to post such information..
Come on, if they are legit, post it up for everyone to see and read..
You didn't put a lot of thought into that did you ?
Did you just randomly search out this number? I doubt it, which means you are either a shill or a hypocrite. Which will it be?
PAY YOUR [removed] BILLS & THEY WILL STOP CALLING!!!!
They called me today. Advised that I needed to clear this up immedieatly. Adam Claybow was my mediator, he stated that this was a collection for Loan.com. He advised that the payday loan company attempted to collected a debt from 2010 and it was refused from my bank. I was on line with the bank at the same time, verified that no such transaction occured. Gave him all my attorney info, told him that I would be reporting to the FTC and the State Attorney Generals office. He hung up.
Mediators Mentioned: Patrick Tevoris & Adam Claybow. 518-621-5647 & 585-698-1836
is the site.
I dug up some dirt!
Alan Fielitz is also tied, along with joe bella, to American Mutual Holding Inc. They list their "partners"on the website but each appears to be affiliated with these entities. From the site:
The companies below all work with AMH Inc on a regular basis. We have built a rapport with them that has developed into numerous thriving business relationships.
Our current clients include both small, medium and Nationwide Collection Agencies.
The diverse portfolios we offer allows us to cater to each of their specific needs when looking for a portfolio to purchase.
?The Alliance Group LLC

BMG-Bahama Marking Group LLC

Morgan Jackson LLC?
Goldberg & Maxwell LLC
No mention of Check Systems but Alan seems to be the controller for Check Systems.
If you are no longer contacted by them but suddenly get calls from these places, I would report them as well. They are bottom feeders.
What a joke
Report them to the FTC and your state attorney general. Tried to say I took out a loan that I have never had. Rude and harrassing
I also got a call from 855-412-3826. Stating they are from Check systems and its regarding a bank account with my name and SS# attached to it. I never called them back, just search this number and found out it was a scam. I recently got called by another number and spoke with someone and found out it was a scam so now every time I get called by a bogus number I research it. I wish I knew of a way I could block each number other than having my phone provider doing it each time. Its getting very annoying. Ever since the first scam number and I blocked that number, I have had others call all hours of the day.
Notified FBI FTC AND AG
They called me today.855.209.9997 asking me to call 8554123826. This is the second scam in one week that has called me. I'm getting pissed. Same bs.
I just received one of these messages too saying there is a problem with my account. This has to be a scam.
For everyone's info. Per chexsystems actual website, they do not place outgoing phone calls to consumers. Its a collection agency, and they are using Chexsystems name, and that is illegal.
this is a reply for Sue I have also been receiving phone calls from a 585 730 6187 for the last month or so from the mark Johnston say the hes the Senior Account Director for check systems and that my files go to turn over to tie a toga County for further action because in the charge me check fraud for a loan that I supposedly took out in 2011 I don't even know if this company is legit the only way they want to take your payment is due of our debit the only way they want to take your payment is due of our debit card:
How do we stop these people? They wont go away!
So this Michael Connors guy is a scam? Called me today trying to get money from me. Had an old address of mine with the wrong zip code. Also had my last 4 digits of social.
I have received a call from Check Systems originally from 855-412-3826 however today I received on from a Michael Johnson, Director with Check Systems from 585-730-8185 indicating I needed to call back to prevent court procedings and "freeze" on my accounts unless I contacted them by end of this week. I'm not sure if this is a new number, the same people, or what. The original calls from 855-412-3826 occurred back in May and I hadn't heard anything since. Has anyone else received calls from the 585 number or a Michael Johnson?
I got a callr from this number told them i was calling police and tv channels along with others as i went on he finally said we call to say hello this is tiring
It is a SCAM and they use the court system and information out there to get you to pay them back and scare you. I can tell you that they need to find a better job and leave people alone.
This is exactly what I was told and the representative told me the pay day loan company would settle for $180. If I owed 1500 in interest after two years who would settle for so little. The woman was ghetto & trying to talk hood even using curse words. Pretty sure its a scam I just got this cell this year and it isnt toes with any old accounts.
i take no s--t
these people sound just like robert james and assoc. in buffalo ny. witch i went round and round with through the BBB and they finaly gave up but seems to have a friend named check systems i told them i was a victim of ID theft and the lady told me to fax the police reports to her she must have thought i was stupid i will not give these guys the time of day as they want me to pay by pre paid debit card over the phone and they think im stupid they said my checking account would have a restraint on it tomorrow and she thought i was stupid all the scare tactics are way to familiar to me and the unusual thing every time i called back in the same day and asked for a supervisor they told me they were i said so every one is a supervisor in your department i though dam id like to work there and get hired in as a supervisor and ill be incharge of supervisors who are incharge of me do not give these scims any infromation tell them to validate the debt by U.S. postal mail if they refuse to do so then it is a scam because it becomes a federal crime when trying to illegally try to extract money from a person by mail look up your rights and it will explain every thing these scums have broken every law so far

I received the same call. I asked the man how can three or four different people call me about the same thing. I was scammed by someone in May about an online loan. I got scared and "settled with them" outside of court. I had $229 drafted from my account because I thought I was settling this. Plus I did not receive confirmation through the mail about the settling of this debt. The man said that he did not know. I told him that I was filing bankruptcy and gave him my attorney name and number. This is sad that people make a living off of scamming folks, especially the elders who do not have someone to advocate for them.
I just had the same call myself not two minutes ago, and I IMMEDIATELY suspected "scam" when the caller i.d. said "800 Service," the above number, and nothing else! Thank God for this website! I have reported several of these so-called "legitimate" calls to the FTC, so thank you, StopScams, for the info and tip! I recently bought a new phone system from Radio Shack, and it has a number blocking system for both actual numbers, as well as "unknown number," 'blocked number," etc. It has a 30-number storage capacity, so I have added this one to the actual numbers (13) plus any blocked, unknown, etc. numbers. It rings once, and the caller gets a message telling them the number has been blocked and disconnects, so all I hear is one ring! It's a Panasonic two-phone landline system for around $69.99, and worth EVERY penny! As an added note, if you decide to "play along" and answer, be sure to get them to send you the information IN WRITING! The U.S. Post Office here in Omaha told me that if they balk over that request, they are scammers, because if they DO send you something in the mail, it then becomes mail fraud!! If the caller DOESN'T use the phrase "...this is an attempt to collect a debt, and all information collected will be for that purpose...etc." as REQUIRED by the Federal Government, then they are bogus!
I have been getting calls, and like some of the others I took out a payday loan that has been paid in full. These people keep calling and make it sound like you have done something wrong. It will scare you to death with the threats and intimidation. If I don't know the number I wont answer it. I have called the local, the state and the federal authorities and am told nothing can be done as they don't have the man power. It is very frustrating!!!!!!
