Yeah, I got the same call. The guy spoke in an accent even I couldn't pin down (I'm familiar with most accents, due to stereotypes) and said that my computer was being attempted to be illegally accessed. I said to him, "Hey guess what? I don't even have a computer so BYE" and hung up lol. Could tell from the start he was a scammer

I got a call from this number. He said he was from Microsoft and my computer was sending error reports.Told him to go pound sand because I recognized this as a scam and he told me what he would do with me, he was going to "f" me hard (he used the real words), he was going to F me so hard I would be screaming and crying with the pain and that I was a dollar American w***e, and he was going to cut my breasts off and drink the milk out of them. It got worse than this. I called my local police and there is a case number in the event it was a call made from America. If the call originated outside of the USA there was nothing the could do. This is an absolute sicko and this person needs to at least be removed from speaking with the general public. Now I do not answer calls from Private Numbers or 800, 855, etc numbers. If a caller cannot identify themselves I will not talk to them. They can leave a legitimate message.

I just received a call from 855-413-5001 and said i had a Windows Server and i was getting warning messages and that they are trying to crash my data. I informed him that I had not been getting any messages. The more he talked the more I could tell he was full of it.
Then i called back and got the same person, then i asked what company he was with, he first hesitated, then he said he was a group with Microsoft.

Such bologna.

Scammers!!!!  Refused to answer questions and sounded Indian, maybe it's a fake accent.

They called twice and on the second call they asked to have a website opened so they could remote into a computer.  They said something was done wrong.  LOL

What idiots!!!  I'll be finding their IPs, MACs, names, SSNs, criminal records, family members, and home addresses very soon.  Just have to take the time. :)  With luck I'll be tracking their mobile phones while having root access as well!!!

I received a call from this number. A person who could hardly speak english.  They claimed to be Microsoft support told me my software had been compromised and wanted me to give them access to my computer so they could walk me through the fix. I may be old but I am not stupid. I refused and then contacted Microsoft to let them know of this scam. People beware do not give any one your info unless you initiated the call

I received a call from 855-413-5001 who claimed to be Windows Technical Support. This was the 2nd call I've received from this group.  They wanted me to stay on the phone to fix some sort of virus on my desktop.  I hung up on him and he kept calling back harassing me so I told him that I would report this call.

Apparently they changed their number. Got a voicemail to call about my husband being served Left a number 855-358-8251   I called it after finding out they had also called family members.  Found out it was RH Group.  Googled it and called them back.  Got someone named Brian who pretended not to hear me when I went off on him about it all being a scam.

I received a call from this number stating that they were with USPC and calling on behalf of Microsoft and that my computer has been compromised and that they needed me to change my settings on my computer.  They spoke with very poor English and warned me that some foreign country has hacked my computer.

Yea so they are complete scamers! They claim to be from Microsoft saying my computer is being hacked. I had to stay on the phone just see how far this was going to go, because I am an IT professional and know that Microsoft doesn't care if someones personal computer is getting hacked. They asked for information that could end up getting your computer hacked. I just laughed at them when they wanted me to download this "new program" that would stop this from happening. Probably the funnest 5 minutes of the morning.

This number is a scam operation. A man called saying his name was Sam however, his accent made him sound like he was from India. Claimed my computer was being hacked -I haven't had a computer for 3 months. I told him it was impossible since my computer is in the shop getting fixed, he became very forceful and very threatening insisting Microsoft he was from Microsoft and that he had my IP address and my computer was being hacked. I told him it was impossible and that I was going to report the number and hung up. He tried calling again and I declined, he then tried from a 900 number 2 more times.

This is a scam. First they tell you that your computer has been hacked. Then they tell you that they are going to help you and that they need you to get on your computer and change some of your settings or to delete certain files that protect your computer. Unfortunately by getting on your computer and following thier instructions to chang the settings on your computer or deleting files you allow them to gain access, after which they freeze your computer and hold it for ransom saying that you need to pay them to free up your computer. If you are not a computer intelligent person -you don't know very much about computers  then you should not change any major settings on your computer. Microsoft will NEVER call you or e-mail you!!!

They called me claiming to be a Microsoft tech saying they found a virus on my computer. They were trying to instruct me so they could take remote access of my computer. I didn't trust them and the call became disconnected. They called back several times and I didn't answer. I called Micorosoft and they said it was a scam.

Mrs. J,   a fax is not a legally valid method of sending a cease and desist request,  nor is Email .
I seriously doubt that this is a real company, but if it were,  you would need to send a Certified letter with signature requested,   via usps mail.  Cost is about  $5.80 + / -  at the post office.
I doubt you will ever get a legitimate address from those people in which to send one.
