Shill alert! Nobody that calls ahead warning you that they are coming to serve you is legitimate.
Just because the company bought debt, you therefore conclude that they are legit. That's funny!
You're feeling like a jerk for the wrong reason.

I must admit this is a real company. afterall, they bought a delinquent debt from few years back. my husband verified it with the original bank and ended up settling it for much less than i owed. I feel like a jerk for jumpin to conclusion and replying to this without even trying to call. Lucky to have my hubby

I received the same call and have not responded. I'm a little worried because i do have delinquent debts and would like to know if anyone has any experience dealing with this company? I'm going to have my husband handle this when he gets home.

I also just received a phone call from Brian Pierce stating he was from Nationwide Delivery Services, stating that he was trying to deliver documents to a person for the second time. When I called the number he gave me,855-419-5696, they answer the call as WallStreet Recovery, (they are located in Atlanta Ga,)
there is a warning on the BBB site for Ga for this company, they also had the phone numbers 770-916-0217,770-250-9676, 770-850-9676 and 866-850-8677, all have been disconnected...
I am going to file a complaint...my number is an unlisted no, and NO one should have access to it.........

Susan: Court cases are a matter of public record. If you're being taken to Court, it's posted on either your City, or States, web site. There is usually a number you can call to check as well. Couldn't hurt to check, but most of us here are sure it's foreign criminals trying to extort Americans to pay on fake loans.

It's a scam. Unless of course you are in default on something that you can summoned to court for. In that case, you might want to deal with it. But it is probably one of the many scare tactic scams out there.
If you do owe someone, call the creditor directly and talk to them.

I got a call from a man from this phone# stating that he was calling from Nationwide Delivery Services and that he was trying to deliver a document for a civil suit against me from a creditor and if I miss the second attempt they would continue on with the civil suit without me. I returned the call and another man answered the phone stating Wall Street Recovery.
