contact your bank to put a stop on them taking any more money out. Also, send them a letter or email letting them know that you have fufilled your obligation to them and do not intend on paying any more money to them.

What they are saying to you is against the law.   You can not go to jail for non payment of a loan.  What they are doing is in violation of the Fair Debt Collection Act.  Contact the Federal Trade Commission and file a formal complaint with them regarding these people.  You can also get an attorney of your own to sue these guys for violating the Fair Debt Act.  Per the act, any collection agency that violates the rules not only can no longer recover money from you even if you owe it, but they would legally owe you the amount of the debt in question for violating the Act.  I have gotten so many fraudulent calls from places like this making the same threats.  I did extensive research on this and found the above info.  Do not let them scare you.  And if they call family members and give them info regarding this and telling them the same threat that you can be arrested, that is a HUGE no no in the Act.  It is privileged information that can only be discussed with the person who's name is on the debt.  The more info you can give the FTC about these sleeze balls, the better.

Debt Collector
I have received calls stating that they have a warrant for my arrest; they were coming to my place of business to arrest me. This is a lie; these people are fraudulent debt collectors. They find you from online applications you fill out. I had taken a payday loan from 500 fast cash, paid it off on time. Then started getting these call, a whole lot of calls. When they stated there was a warrant out for my arrest, and they would be coming to pick me up at my place of work to arrest me, I told them Go ahead, I?ll be waiting right here!
No one has ever shown up at my place of business. Even after receiving this threat many times.
This is because:
A. they are scammers!
B. it's a complete LIE!
And last but most important;
C. It is against the law for them to come to you place of business. Much less threaten you on a phone call when you haven?t even received a written letter from the actual company. OR the courts themselves!
My advice just ignore them, don?t even answer the calls. I don?t answer any calls that I don?t know the number. If it is an important call I should take, they will leave a message and I will call them back.

Best of Luck!

8:02 am ?  What a bunch of morons. Yeah. I've actually asked them for a validation letter via mail. They refuse to send one. They say since the loan was done on line, they will only communicate via email. That is completely against the law. These calls have been going on for almost two years now. I don't even know their address or anything, so, I just keep throwing their number into Mr. Number call blocker app and move on.

Dispute the transactions with them at your bank. Tell the bank you no longer allow ACH debits from this company. Make sure they are licensed in your state for payday loans. Ask them for a final notice of balance due and their mailing address. If they do not supply these, you are not accountable legally for this "payday loan". Most states have strict requirements about who and what type of interest they allow on payday loans.
Check with your states Dept of Financial regulation as the loans may be illegal in ur state to begin with. Mention this to them next time they call and watch them hang up.

There are other reasons they call other than because you didn't pay your bill; in my case I have paid them back and because they didn't honor their own business guidelines they try to take what is not owed them. I sent them a fax telling them to take my entire lump sum in one payment by faxing them the necessary forms and faxed it to them in not the three days before payment was due but ten days. They are paying no attention to this fax and repeatedly took money each month therefore renewing the "loan" four months straight. Not one penny of the payments taken went towards my balance, my payments went from 90.00 to 140.00 and will continue to grow monthly until this is paid to them. Now, i'm in final collections with this joke of a business that is trying to make loan sharking legal in any way they can get away with it. They call everyday at the same time and change the number they call from every two weeks, I have told them in writing that I want the calls to stop and to do what they need to because I have all my original paperwork to take to court with me? They are now not only ignoring the fax I sent them 9 months ago cancelling the loan renewal but they keep calling too. That's illegal. This place is a one ring circus sideshow; you don't help anyone with a so called loan and then chase them to the poor house with insane practices such as this. It makes you worse off than you were before. I have no intent on sending them 495.00 dollars to get them to stop calling. They are going to respect their own rules and if we have to go to court to do that? So be it, i've asked them to, they'd rather be thieves than to do the right thing. Granted, some people are trying to get away with the rip off and run from the owed debt. That's not the case with me though, they're seriously a corrupt joke from purgatory.

It's becuase you have a pay day loan that you never paid and they dont have your current information other than the cell # you gave them so there trying to get you to apply for a fake pay day loan to get your current contact information. Dont be a dead beat, it's ghetto to take a loan knowing your not gonna pay it back.
