does anyone has the address for this office so called PR Associates? my law firm is investigating them for violating ftc legal law.

a gentleman by the name of frank montgomery called and left a voicemail. he stated that he's a court processor on behalf of PR & Associates Legal Group with attorney Kelly Ross. they told me that they have been retained to serve me court documents which himself and the sheriff are going to attempt to deliver to me at my home address. frank stated that they are charging $75 convenience fee every time when i'm not at my home address when they deliver the court documents. he stated that this fee will incur when i go to court. he asked me to contact his office at 855-420-8278. he stated that if after a week of attempt to serve court documents and they are not able to serve me the documents, a bench warrant maybe issue at the discretion of the county judge.

i looked up the phone number 855-420-8278 and the number belongs to P&R Associates debt collection agency. as to my knowledge, this type of phone call harassment and threat is illegal under FTC Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

so P&R Associates debt collection agency is using false statement and using scare tactics by representing themselves as a court/attorney office in order to collect debt from people.

I had this number contact me several times regarding a debt I had. I guess I wouldnt have to be hassled if I paid my loan back on time ... same goes for everyone else here... however, the loan was legit and even though I dont agree with the way they do business I do have to pay this or it will continue to be stuck on my credit report.

I got a voicemail on 2/17 (President's Day holiday) from a person named Ashley (not sure if it's the same one) and asked me to call back 855-420-8278 to arrange a different day and time for me to receive the papers I'm being served. She even said in the voicemail that she charge $75 for each attempt of serving me my papers at my place of employment. A sheriff will be accompanying her when she serve my papers.

Well, for starters, who calls on a Federal holiday and a sheriff accompanying you to serve papers during that time? I have a friend that served my divorce papers to my ex husband and our next door neighbor had been served for something, a sheriff was never with either one. I think this is a tactic to scare me and actually make that phone call. Guess what? I didn't. Then on 3/3 I got another voicemail from Ashley telling me that if I don't call back the same #, she will show up with a sheriff at my work "tomorrow" between 10-11am. I don't know which "tomorrow" she's referring to but she didn't show up to my understanding of "tomorrow, 3/4".

We were having this same problem last year. After getting just as ugly as they did on the phone and threatning a lawsuit , It finally stopped. it got to the point we wouldn't answer the phone. They would call like ten times in a row. but never left a message. very frustrating to say the least.Today it started again . They called my husbands place of employment.

This person called me and told me that her name was Ashley but never once said her last name and told me that she was from the county court and when she said it's for a debt I asked her what debt and she told me she couldn't tell me that I had to call the number she gave me and if I don't she would serve me papers when I started asking more questions she started getting very rude and I told her well I need ur company name and she said she didn't have to tell me nothing and I needed to pay a debt but I told her again what debt and she got very rude and said she would serve papers and if I didn't call that number I was going to jail

I got a message from this company today from my job.
Saying that she has papers to serve me and will go to my house and my work. Between the hours of 3-pm and that if I don't want her to come to my place of employment call this number and reschedule a better time and date.

People from this number keep calling my home and job with the same pointless threats. I am so over them. This is a scam and I've never known a company or a bill collector who want send you a copy of a bill or at least tell you who the debt is with. Thankfully, I have my own number at work and how did they get my work contact information. I never give that information out to companies. I always provide my cell number.

I should point out that when they first started calling me, it was from a number that showed up as "restricted" on my caller id and then they told me I had to call PR Associates at 855-420-8278 to settle this or I was going to be "served".  Now it's changed to Professional Recovery Services or Solutions or whatever.  Same number to call back.

These yo-yo['s have been calling me for about a month now as well.  I decided to google their number and came up with this thread.  How can they be stopped?  Did anyone report them and did it stop?  My cell phone number is on the do not call registry but I guess that doesn't stop these people.  I do not owe anyone money so I'm not overly concerned about it, just getting extremely annoyed by all the calls.  

PR services threatening to send out a sheriff.  1-855-420-8278 and they're call for the last three months threatening to service me.

This a scam; foolishly gave my debit card number but when awaken to the fact it is a scam I contacted consumer bureau, Atty Genl office; alerted by advice from these offices-closed the acct and shifted finances around; call them to log a complaint; suppose to get papers today; check Ftc.gov.

Same. Called (on a federal holiday) to claim the County Clerk and Sheriffs Dept were coming to serve me notice to appear in court and to claim an amount on a 2 yr old paid bill that was TRIPLE the actual paid amount.

I am getting the same calls and Heather from P&R Associates told me to get a paid in full letter..  I did have a payday loan which was paid back over 3 years ago and since that account has been closed. She told that the judge will decide that I was being sued???

I always receives calls from this number. It is always a recording message. The recording never say who they are and I'm getting tired of it. I wish they stop calling my phone.

I get calls from a blocked number and she tells me I have court like every week and if I miss it I could possibly have a bench warrant for me but I know how the system works from dealing with thing my husband got into trouble.. If u miss court you will have a warrant there's no it might be possible and if you missed a court date their not gonna give you another one the following week.. She says her name is trinity every time and I'm always home and she's never came to my house she always tells me good luck everytime at the end of her voicemails

Just got a call from them saying the shiriff will be coming to serve me papers. And then the lady cused me out when I questioned everything

These yahoos have called me, my brother, my ex-husband's latest wife and God only knows who else threatening to arrest me for a debt that I do owe (I owe several, but these idiots pretend to not be able to tell me which one they are representing). I asked for something in writing showing me who it is and what they say I owe and was told "we don't do that".  Also, I have NEVER used anyone but my brother as a reference, and they told all these other people that I had given them as references. So be aware if they are after you, rightfully or not, they will likely do the same thing. Shady and immoral, if not illegal.  I have filed a complaint with our AG's office, and will also hit whatever other agencies I can find. I will freely own up to my debt, but these tactics are NOT right!

It just happened to me!  I was in tears!!!  They said I took out a payday loan and I owed $2300.  They got it "reduced" to $1100 if I paid today and get the matter taken care of or talk to a Judge because I will be summoned to Miami. What a horrible thing to do to people.  Thank-you all for reporting.

I received a call from a Paul Clark or Paul Clarke twice in 2 days, saying that he had paperwork for me regarding a pending legal claim that was filed under my name and social security number and that he would be coming out to my place of employment or home residence "tomorrow".  He said that if I didn't contact the number back then they would note "willful evasure".  At the end of the message he says "good luck".  Strange because if he really knew my SSN he would know that the name he used is not what it says on my SSN.

It sounded like he was reading from a script because he kept pausing...very strange.

Also, this same exact script was read to me about 6 months ago and about 8 months before that, from the same number.  As of today I have added my number to the  Federal Trade Commission - Do Not Call Registry? (https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx), I suggest others do the same so that you can report them...

I've been getting the same messages on my voicemail which I just ignore.  I'm not that stupid!  However,  they crossed the line by calling my place of business and telling MY EMPLOYEE that they had a court summons for me!  I called back with the sole intention of giving them a cease and desist warning.  The lady, I use that term loosely, interrupted me and when I said, "no listen to me," she said "no I won't listen to you.  Lalala goodbye."  I'm appalled.  I know this is harassment and against the law, but who do you contact if all you have is a fake company name and phone number ????

I just received a message from this phone number. This is the 2nd time in a 2 month time period. The last time it was a guy who left the message and when I called back they were very nasty.  This time it was a woman who left the message. When I called it back she was yelling at me, telling me to get my facts straight because only 3 woman work there, etc.. I told her to F-Off and Hung Up. She called me back from the number I called from (which was my work number) and called me a  C-U-Next-Tuesday and a some other not so nice names. I called the number back and told her that I had reported her to the police and better business bureau. So far no phone call back.  How do these people get away with this stuff and harass people the way that they do.  Both times they have called they say they are looking for a Claretha Williams. I have no clue who this person is or even if they are real.  How do we get it to stop?

I got a call from these jokers....they left a VM and are looking for a friend of my wife.....they must have our number from a reference she gave.  Bottom line is that the lady that left the VM was not very smart.  She said they would be bringing the Sheriff to serve papers "Tomorrow" between 2-4PM.....if officials are coming to a house they will at least give the date....Then she goes on and gives this number to contact her......rambles on about you have been served....$75 each visit.....bla, bla....but then says if I need an attorney to help, and we think you may need one, but that is up to you......you can contact the attorney.......wait for it......wait....oh yes she gives the same number again.......The number to contact the folks serving papers with the sheriff are at the same number as the folks to help you out of this mess....She ends the call with "Wife Friend name, YOU HAVE BEEN SERVED!!!".....You left a voice mail on a number that does not belong to the name you repeated 3X during the call.  I am not a lawyer but I assume to be served you need to have some acknowledgement at a minimum?.......Scare tactics 101 to collect or scam me for someone else debit.

i recieved a call on my cell  phone and than at my work stating a sherrif would be out at a certain time period if i didn't call this number  and i called them and they are trying to get me to give them money and i told them i want to talk directly to the company i am paying they kept stating hold on and i will see if they will except less than owed....again when the lady came back on i told her i wanted to speak with the company of debt directly and she wouldnt give me their number

this is a joke the cops have not came out once this is the 4th time the have called its a scam nobody respond to it its a joke thank you

I was called by an blocked number first and they said they were a presses server company giving me a call to let me know I am going to be served if I don't call 855-420-8278 to resolve this the companies name was Professional recovery services.. im just worried cause ive never got a call like this before?

These jokers have been fishing to try and scare me for about 2 years now. Its all B.S trust me. They are trying to extort folks out of their hard earned money. I'm not paying a cent scammers!

I've been getting calls from this number/company, too.  They are SCAMMERS!  Please don't pay them - they will not send anyone to serve you with papers or arrest you.  They are trying to take your money.  I've gone through the process of telling them to stop calling me, threatening to file a complaint, etc.  Unfortunately, they still call.  I've decided to start harassing them when they call.  I now either scream into the phone as soon as I pick up, start singing to them or just keep saying "stop calling me, stop calling me, stop calling me".  The lady on the other end gets a little irritated with me, I think.  :)

I'm not worried, as I know I don't owe anyone money - least of all this bunch of jokers!
