I received calls from this number and I found out it is from a pay day loan I took out a few years.  What they did was pass down my case to these people to call and threaten people like you and me.  They surpose to call and give the company name and the reason.  It is against the law to tell people I am coming to your home or job to deliver papers that why we have uspostal service for.  I told this lady I will pay you when I get the money.  This was the second company that did this and I reported them and they havnt call me back.

I received a call today stating the same and threats to arrive at my place of employment June 2 with a warrant. I told the caller if she could not send any documentation come on. Ms. Washington legal courier called 855 436-9113

Ms.Conners and I have been playing phone tag for about a week now. She's threatening to file a case against me for a debt. But,what she obviously does not know is that I work in the local judicial field... I've been looking for any pending cases against my name,  dob,  and ssn and I've come up with nothing so far....I'm about to make a fourth attempt in contacting this Ms. Conners.  I want to see records of this debt before anything!

A so called representative called me demanding I take a message for my niece Jessica.  Please she's a grown woman I do not need this!!! This crack addict keeps demanding I take a message or I will keep getting calls.

Extortion Scam Related to Delinquent Payday Loans

The Internet Crime Complaint Center has received many complaints from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams. Callers claim the victim is delinquent in a payday loan and must repay the loan to avoid legal consequences. The callers purport to be representatives of the FBI, Federal Legislative Department, various law firms, or other legitimate-sounding agencies. They claim to be collecting debts for companies such as United Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Net, and other Internet check-cashing services.

According to complaints received from the public, the callers have accurate data about victims, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, employer information, bank account numbers, and the names and telephone numbers of relatives and friends. How the fraudsters obtained the personal information varies, but in some cases victims have reported they completed online applications for other loans or credit cards before the calls started.

The fraudsters relentlessly call the victim?s home, cell phone, and place of employment. They refuse to provide any details about the alleged payday loans and become abusive when questioned. The callers have threatened victims with legal actions, arrests, and, in some cases, physical violence if they do not pay. In many cases, the callers harass victims? relatives, friends, and employers.

Received the same message about coming to house or employment. Last words were you have been notified. Did not give any other information that was important. Did not say who they are with

They called me and said my son has a court document and if he does not pay they will garnish his pay, and serve him papers at work.  why don't they call him or send written notification to his house. He has never received anything in writing. They left this on my voice mail.   Scam, scam,scam

Just received a phone call from a dumb woman named Lisa. Demanded to speak to someone I have not seen in years. Tried asking what this was in regards to started babbling she was given this number. This morons response to mumble like a donkey and hang up.

Did you ever get served?

Got a call from the same people but spoke to a Ms Conors who was very pleasant and helpful.  I paid off my debt with her help and cleared my credit report.  If you don't payback what you borrow, well then, I guess I deserved the calls.  I would do the same thing if someone owed me money.  Don't think I'd be as nice as Ms Conors was about it though.

ahhhh, I thought the same thing and I didn't take care of this and WAS JUST SERVED AT MY JOB!!!!!

Received a call from Lisa something (855) 436.9113 claiming that legal documents have been filed against me and they will be delivered to my home or place of employment-rattled off some reference number, announced I have been served. COMPLETE SCAM. No real legal company would call with that type of information, you would receive something in the mail and/or the company's telephone number would appear on the caller id. These are scam artists.

Yike! same happened to me. Everything what you wrote same thing what I encountered voicemail from name Sharon Littlefield legal courier talking about legal document etc..etc.. Glad I was able to read your post. Now I know who they are.

Received a call Tuesday or Wednesday on my answering machine from a woman named Sharon Littlefield.  She appears to be trolling as she addressed me by someone else's name.  The woman went on attempting to impress me by saying she was a "legal courier" who had received a "Legal Document"  that I must respond to immediately.  No company name was given,  but she said she would be coming by my home or office to serve the paperwork on 3/27/14.  I hope she has a pleasant flight; she'll NOT be pleased with her reception.  

I was to respond by calling 855-436-9113 and mentioning a case number she rattled off -- evidently to confirm her field trip itinerary or to work out different plans.  Before she hung up, her parting doxology was a stern "You have been notified".   The invasive female sounded so "official" I had to listen to her message twice before I determined it was nothing more than another money extorting scam.

Since the first call, I have received several more calls that ended as hang-ups.  I suspect at least one from 716-568-7550 was the same "Ms. Spamola".

FYI:  Because we seem to be on several Robo-Call top 40 lists, I have installed a Tele-Zapper tone ringer to confuse most computer generated calls.  We still get many direct sales/scam callers, so I let my answering machine screen incoming messages.  I still get plenty of legitimate local calls, so we will keep our present land-line number despite the petty annoyances.  I DO NOT RESPOND TO OR RETURN UNSOLICITED CALLS -- EVER!   Furthermore, I DO NOT offer personal information (including my name and address) to unknown callers who sometimes get through --- PERIOD...  End of story...

Received a voicemail from a woman named Lisa Stark saying I've been named in a civil suit. She had my last 4 of the SSN and the county I live in. I haven't tried to call back yet, first stop was entering the phone number into Google and this came up. Very disturbing.

Just got a call from these people. They left a voice mail saying  there was a civil law suit being filed against me and I should contact them to stop it.  I do not know who these people are and I will not reply to them unless I see some proof of the debt.  

Called this number back after they left a disturbing message on my voice mail with all of my personal information. Asked how they got my information and was repeatedly hung up on. Asked to speak to the manager some rude obnoxious woman named Lisa stark shouted obscene things at me. These people are obnoxious scam artists who will steal your information and aim you owe some fake debt.
