If Green Tree is calling your cell phone (not landline) without your consent, you may be able to start a class action under the TCPA (Telephone Consumer Protection Act).

They just bought a bunch of CitiMortgage loans. They call relentlessly, and they don't care what time of day or night. Annoying.

I got a call also. My granddaughter (adult) answered and they thought she was me.   When she said " this is her granddaughter" they hung up on her.  Called earlier today and left no message.  I'm not going to put up with unprofessional hassles every month.  We always make our payments.

Good luck to us former Everhome customers. I too have heard nothing good about Green Tree. Even my new insurance agent wished me good luck when dealing with them. Notoriously bad customer service. :( I wonder what the deal is with Everhome???

Ironically, I just recieved a call moments earlier from this #. Googled it and here we all are... I had my 20yr mortgage thru Everhome which was a good experience. Got the letter that they sold to Greentree last week, read their reviews and they sound awful. Not one positive review on Greentree. I hope we are not entering into a nightmare company peeps!

Thanks for the information, no messages left have called several times, just received the letter that Everhome sold our mortgage. Thanks a lot Everhome...I've heard nothing but bad things about Green Tree.

Greentree calls every day several times a day before my note is even past due. Due on the first not past due until the 16th, They start calling on the second.

Green Tree will now charge you to make your payment online, where it was free with Everhome. beware of there new charges.

I did not answer either. I had 4 calls from them today. I received the 'goodbye' letter from Everhome and the 'hello' letter from Greentree in April for them selling my loan and my payments to start to Greentree on May 1st. This payment sent for May on April 22. I did not know who this might be until checking here But why are they calling? The number does not have any name associated with it and that is Not what professional companies do. I am going to dig out my hello letter tomorrow and call that number to see what the heck may be going on.

I didn't answer the call, either. From reading previous posts, my mortgage company is EverHome. But this May 2014, my loan is transferred to GreenTree Loan Service Company. I got the letter from EverHome, telling me that. I'll answer the call next time and find out what happens.

I appreciate the postings! I have a loan through Everhome and I recently received word about the loan transfer. As with everyone else, I am getting a call with no voicemail message. I called back today and still without advertising who they are, they asked for the last four digits of my SS #. Yeah, right. I'm going to blindly give out information.

My mortgage IS with Greentree but I don't answer calls from people that HIDE who they are.  Why say "unavailable" on CallerID when I'm a customer?  Why not leave a message if I'm not home?  Why call me during the day, at home, when I obviously work?  My mortgage with GMAC was sold to them awhile back.  They are the absolute WORST company to deal with.  Rude, unprofessional, and completely lacking in providing ANY customer service whatsoever.  If the call was legitimate, they wouldn't "hide" their true identity.  They have been added to my call blocking device.  I simply refuse to talk to these idiots ever again.

They've been calling me for several days.  They don't leave a message and now that I know it's Greentree I'll answer next time.  Everhome sold our mortgage to Greentree.  Not real happy about it but it's whatever.

I answered the call this morning to see whay they were calling. It takes a minute for them to answer because it is automated dialing. The caller did state that I had a mortgage with Everhome Mortgage which was transfered to Greentree. He did not ask for my banking information. However he did give me my new account number with them. I was then given contact information and a website to sign up for automatic payments. Seems legit, since at the same time I was logged into the Everhome site and seen where my account was transfered on 05/01/2014, and my payment had not been drafted from my bank account

Got a couple calls from this number and didn't answer either...thanks for posting it's for Greentree...my mortgage with Everhome was just sold to them

This caller was reqesting bank routing information and other personal information.  Said it was Greentree.  I have no business with these folks.  Highly suspicious.

Greetree Servicing is what the automated answerer says.  Website says it is a mortgage service center.  My mortgage is not with Greentree.

and they left no message, which raises a red flag!
