I am a single mom of 3 and having a hard time, I to thought this was a finally a chance to get back on track. They took 1300.00 my months rent because I was going to get 3000.00 in 3 hrs....but then they asked for more, I canceled the loan was told my refund would be here in 2 weeks....that was last month now the number I have used to talk to them don't work.

Report them to your local authorities.   No reputable lender will loan you money over the phone.  Nor will anyone lend you money on the basis of an e-mail.  On-line loan applications or suspect as well.   In any case up-front fees are illegal in almost all American states and I guess in Canada too.  Money sent through Western Union is almost always lost, although I've heard Western Union security might be able to help law enforcement.  You won't get a refund.  Scammers don't give refunds.

Rule:   Never send money by Western Union to people you do not know.  Period.  Western Union is a scammer's bank, basically.

I believe these scammers have certain basic financial information on their victims.  Like most predators, they know their prey. They seem to go after people they think are vulnerable.  Single women, single mothers, the elderly and members of the immigrant community.

Don't fall for it.

Again:  Report them to police.

No legitimate lender will loan you money on the basis of an e-mail or a phone conversation. On-line application type offers are very questionable also.  If you want to borrow money go to an established brick and mortar company, with a concrete physical address.

In any event, up-front fees of any kind are illegal in most states and it doesn't matter what the so-called "lender" says.  It's an up-front fee if you have to pay before getting the money.  It's illegal.  

This appears to be still another scam originating in India.

I went through the same they called and guaranteed me a 5000.00 dollar loan if I sent 500 and after sending my money western union they called back and said I need to send another 500 to get it with in an hour. This is a scam I'm still waiting for my refund and when I call I only get a busy signal they gave me a confirmation number which I doubt is true or correct. This should be stopped and really some legal action taken against these people.

I spoke to a 'lynda' who claimed to be the manager. Basically using my needs for the loan against me. In order to manipulate me into sending the other 500 $. I have not. I will not and screw HOSPARIA INC. SERVICES they're ignorant,  scamming crooks. That deserve to rot.    I was told it would be "WRONG" of me. Not to follow through. Because I needed it so badly. I said "lady. Only wrong I did. Was sign your b***s*** contract. "   I only lost 400 $.but others lost way more. This wasnt only page ppl. Wrote on...
Learned my lesson. The hard way. But still. Never trust another loan company.  And dig deep for research.

I have yet to receive my refund.  And I did not send any other money.
It sucks that ppl can do this to vulnerable ppl.and sleep at night.

The money wasn't there because this is a scam!  "..im wondering if anyone has actully stood up to their end of the bargain.." Maybe you should read all of the posts - people paid money and then were asked to pay more - when they refused, they were refused refunds.  Any "lender" who asks you to pay money via Western Union or prepaid card so that you can receive a loan is a scammer.  No exceptions.  Doesn't matter if it's "fees, taxes, insurance, first installment, bad credit - whatever" - it's illegal to have to pay money upfront to get money.  Legitimate lenders add fees to the total of the loan, so you do not have to pay anything.

Government agency in Canada as I was instructed to send cash to a squid in Kingston, Ontario.....Corey Myers, Tiffany Spence and Tevin Thompson were the names used.

I got the same thing too after Lycos ripped me, a call from an Emerald City Financial and the names they used there are David Richardson and Bradley Stuart.

It's a scam. They called me and said I was approved for 35000. Then they asked me to send $ to 2 different people through western union to 1950 Peter St in Bath On. It's a scam do not send them any money

I am so glad I read this...almost got sucked in AGAIN!! Just sent mandriva solutions inc 2000 and now they won't gice us our money back or anything...I am so at a loss with what to do. And wow almost fell for it again. So sad that people in my position are taken advantage of like this...I am a single mom amd borrowed the money off of my boyfriend just so I could possibly get a loan and finally get ahead of the game.  Hah no such luck...I am even further behind now!
