I keep getting calls from this number -- when I do answer, they aren't clear as to what I owe and/or to whom. The voicemails left are utterly ridiculous; I can't even understand what they're saying!
Has anyone been able to get them to stop calling?

I got a call today from someone named Jovona or Javina from that number. After I said yes that is my name, she wanted me to verify my address and social. Automatic red flag. I asked what company are you with and the purpose of the call. The person stated that once my info is verified I would get all the details. I refused and asked the question again. She said no, got snippy and told me that since I was not going to cooperate she was going to verify the information for me and then she hung up the phone. I dialed the number back and got a recording. The company's name is Gatestone.

I just recived a call and the same thing as what you said happened to me.
I told her not personal info given by her is going to be  verified by me, I said goodbye and hung up.
I called teh number back and it just said GATEWAY.

This is GateStone Collections, they were known by another company name.  For anyone who needs to know, collectors can call between 8am and 9pm in the time zone you are in. if they call before or after that, they are in violation of the Credit Act.

These people continue to call for an individual that has not lived in my home for 1 year. I called the number and left a message to stop calling, but they continue to call anyway. How do I stop them???

An Alina Sogo called said it was important that she got a hold of one my daughters. So I called back and she answered Alina Sogo (not sure of the spelling) but said it was important but could not tell me why or what company she worked for. her number and ext. was 855-464-3411   ext. 8572

I can also confirm that this is the Collections Agency for the University of Phoenix.  They are trying to collect a debt and will do so by any means needed.  Barbara Johnson was who the person who left a message for me.

This company keeps calling me at my office for a debt that I do not owe.  They refuse to stop callling my workplace even though I have threatened to take legal action.  I guess that I am going to be forced to do so any way because they are not reasonable people.  They cannot get it through their head that I am not the person they are looking for.  Absolutely rude and inconsiderate.

Bill collectors for university of Phoenix that keep calling on a collection on a account that was reported under fraud.

They are calling after 9pm.. isn't that illegal now?

My call was from a Richard Ortega, he left a message to call him at extension 8580 and provided a "reference number", but no details of why I should bother returning the call, no business name was provided...

you should know who you are calling and stop harrassing innocent people all day!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got a call from this number and the man asked for me. I told him I was who he was looking for and he said to make sure he was taliking to the correct person he needed me to verify my mailing address and my socail security number. i then asked him to tell me where he was calling from he said Phoenix, Arizona. I told him I wanted to know what company he was calling from and he told me he was not at liberty to say. I then told him I was not at liberty to release any of my personal information to him and hung up!!!

I don't have debt.... they call me and wake me up at 8:20 am!!!! They aren't even looking for me... they won''t stop calling.. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I did get a call from them and they were actually nice and worked to help me resolve my outstanding debt with UoP..
