This is harassment what these people are doing not legitimate calls being made they call at least three times a day say absolutely nothing nor do they leave a message there is no way of calling them back. So please back off and don't tell people they should have to put up with it. People have to pay for their minutes in their cell phones and they shouldn't have to pay for these calls because they own a phone screw your head on straight bud

I don't answer calls from "unknown" callers. When I call back, I expect someone to answer, not just be voice mail. In my business, we don't call people. If they want our business, they call us. Most people these days are resourceful enough to find the services they need on their own. Calling EVERY SINGLE DAY is completely annoying and is actually a turn off and borderline harassment.

You obviously don't understand how this works. You being rude and uncouth does nothing but make yourself look bad.

Firstly, they do not sell your number to anyone. They have been given your number from whatever company you have already got business with, for example Rogers. They don't do cold calls and they do not do intaking calls either. They are strictly employed to make calls on behalf of whatever company pays them. That's it. There Is absolutely no exchange of numbers, there is EXTREMELY strict rules in place to assure no information is ever given out or leaves the work place and there is actually major fines in place on top of immediate termination in case it ever were.

That said, you being rude and, for a lack of better words, a complete a***ole, does not lower chances of having a 'number sold' consider there is no numbers being sold..

These employees have a very strict set of rules and processess and are required to day things verbatim, some programs even scripted word for word.

When in contact with a customer who is irate, much like yourself, unfortunately there is a high chance you will get called back! Because you did none other than to scream, swear, and insult another human who is simply trying to do their job, they have no choice but to cycle your number back into the system as instructed.

The CORRECT way to stop receiving calls would to be politely and calmly to ask to be put on their 'Do Not Call List'. They will stop the call and read a short scripted response with instructions and the calls will stop within 2 weeks as per CRTC regulations. It's that simple.

I know when I was employed there I was MORE THAN HAPPY to remove people from lists. I didn't like telemarketers calling me, why can I expect people on the other side of the phone react happy either? But I certainly didn't appreciate people like you who treat others like dirt for having to work a s****y job. I didn't enjoy working there, but me much like many of my peers were there to make money for school, maybe to pay off debt, to pay the rent. They aren't there by choice, but you making their life harder than it is just makes you a crappy person.

So all due respect, I hope your method of dealing with this changes, I hope you grow up a little and begin to speak to people like adults, and I hope you take my advice and actually have the numbers stopped.

Oh, and in regards to the time, it's not even there choice. Its an automated machine that randomly assigns you a customer at any given time. They don't want to call you at 8:30pm any more than you want to answer it. Got a complaint? Talk the government who makes the bloody rules. WWW.crtc.gc.can

I GET MANY CALLS ALL PLS QUITE AS IM ON A DO NOT CALL LIST

After an hour on the phone with them,(being as difficult as I could be with management, not low level employees). I climbed the management ladder as high as I could go. The highest employees numbers that I could get: Samira, company ID# 870336 (floor supervisor), Dave Lindsey company ID# 873456 (floor supervisor). Their supervisor Sandra Grant (they wouldn't give me her ID#). I was told if I wanted to go over Sandra's head and speak to the highest member of management that dealt with customer complaints I should phone Matt Gordon 1-877-912-9333 ext. 2257.(This is a direct # to the company) I believe the president of the company is John Marcer, not sure if I spelt it right.
If you're sick and tired of being harassed by this complany maybe you should phone Matt repeatedly (like they do to us) and get to the bottom of it

Zedd Solutions called me at 2:57am Talk about incompetence for a marketing firm. If you try to call them you can't other than leaving a voicemail or email. Their automated remove me from your list service says it will take a month!

Got that call for a first time tonight at 8:45pm.. Showing xmsirius canada on caller ID.. I didnt answer and it rang 3 times. My number is on the list already... Like I read here, i wont answer if it calls again...

True. It used to be that people lived their lives. Now we just HAVE to tell everyone about it, in agonizing detail. People put all this "We're going on a vacation" information on their Facebook page, & then can't understand why the house was robbed while they were away.

And to make sure their facebook accounts personal info are turned to private and not public.  You nor anyone except my friends and family, need to be calling and you certainly don't need to know a thing about me or anyone else. Wow, have the majority of people posting on here just crawled out from under a rock? Newsflash, Zedd is one of many millions of call centers, which in most cases are hired by large companies that don't like hiring their own telemarketing employees and having to pay a decent wage so instead they contract out a third party outfit, Zedd for instance, to hire 10 people with different backgrounds and work ethics, to do a job that one person can do and instead pay each employee minimum or a dollar above minimum wage.

Now, some advice for the people who just go blind with rage over a phone call that can be easily avoided, here are some very simple steps to take,

- Don't answer the phone.
- If you're available to answer the phone, do so otherwise, if your busy, by all means don't go running for the phone only to say that your busy or to have a fit, your just wasting your time and the telemarketer's time.
- If you're interested in taking an offer over the phone, make sure to ask as many questions as you can and get the obvious details, persons name, company working for, contact number, time of call, where they're calling from... And call the company that the telemarketer was calling from a day or 2 after to follow up with your purchase.
- If you don't want calls, clearly state that you want to be put on the Do No Call list and as set out by the CRTC rules, you need to wait 31 days before being completely removed so you might receive a call within that time. companies can actually put you back on there lists after 3 years as stated in the CRTC so make sure to ask to be put on the Do Not Call list again if called and your still uninterested.
- Lastly, people who get all worked up over a phone call should know that in most cases, you sound rediculous, and extremely rude and unless the telemarketer is being an a**le, try your best to act like a grown up, and if you dont like calls then simply dont get a telephone, otherwise be prepared to get a call from a telekmarketer every so often...

What exactly do you propose I "learn" - to give information to someone who calls out of the blue, claiming to be working for Rogers?  They could be anyone, and when they ask:

Are you a Rogers customer?
Can you verify your address and postal code?
Can you verify your birth date?

I'm not overly inclined to answer their questions, given that this is the script for many scam calls.  In addition, when they start to discuss "my" services and name off services that I do not have and have never had, I'm not going to be very convinced that they are who they say they are.  Perhaps they do "have every piece of information (I) have on file," but I have no way of knowing that, given they conduct their phone calls as I've indicated above.  I do realize that they have to verify my identity in order to make changes to my account, but I'm not giving out any of my personal information to a cold caller, considering it is virtually impossible to determine if they are legitimate, especially with the prevalence of telephone scams.  If I want to make changes to an account, I'll call the company - I most certainly will not be discussing my business with a random person on the telephone just because they claim to represent said company.

I have recieved phone calls from this telemarketing company every day for the past 7 days!!!! WTF!!!

The first time, i hung up after they said they were calling on behalf of RBC, the second time i said i was busy, and i havent answered since.
