Got a call from 667-401-1469 with this call back number twice. Both times threatening messages were left that gave no information as to the matter they were calling about or the company identity. The message today said they would be filing a judgement because they had not heard from me. I tried to call back this number, as well as the number that came through my caller id and was directed straight to a voicemail that simply said, "The person at extension 101 is not available" before the beep. I left a message with ONLY my phone number and said I would be reporting the number to the Better Business Bureau and that I needed to be taken off their list. A couple of points to keep in mind:

1) The person in the message did not use proper English and although they were trying to sound official, they weren't even using the correct tense of the words they spewed. Even minimum wage telemarketers read from an approved script written by someone with basic English skills.

2) If this were a collection call, the agency would be required to identify themselves per the debt collection law.

3) Neither number is connected anywhere on the internet to an actual business. A law firm, collection agency, etc, is required to register their business and would at least have their number listed.

I ran my free credit report today just to make sure someone hadn't gotten ahold of my identity and tried to open an account. It's clear, thankfully. Be very careful and do NOT give these scammers any information. Reply !

I keep receiving the same phone call from this number as well

Received recorded message - "2nd attempt to reach you regarding Notice of Intent for past banking transaction".  No name, just the phone number which does not show up anywhere else but here when googled.  

Received a recorded message asking me to call this 855 number regarding an important matter that might affect my credit rating.  Of course, I didn't call it.
