I keep getting calls from this number asking for "James Humphries" I don't know a James Humphries...

I saw a message on my husband's txt messages saying, "I am at work, what do you want?"  I asked him who this was from and he did not know, I became curious, called it but disconnected, who is this?

The caller claimed to be SCE when she called me and asked for me by first name as well.  They asked if I was enrolled in some program and when I instinctively said yes she hung up on me.

If you call them back they give you the option to remove yourself from their list and add your name to their do not call list. Don't know if it works yet, but it might be worth a try.

If it is SCE they should be reported.  You can report them to the do not call registry at https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx

A guy from 855-477-4405 just called and asked for "Matthew", said he's from Southern California Edison. Scammer.

I just called the number back and got a recording saying that someone was trying to reach me on behalf of SoCal Edison about the Smart Connect Program.  I was then given the option of removing my phone number from the calling list, which I did.

Have received several calls from this number over the past month or so.  I have never answered and they never leave a message.

Called twice before on previous days. Telemarketer, claimed to be from SCE. I quoted this page and asked to be taken off their list. He said "Okay, bye" and hung up.

I also got a call from a guy from So Cal Ed. He wanted  mr to go on line and apply for a new service. Rhe odd thing was his caller ID showed up under my friends name. He hung up right after I said I didn't wAnt the service. Very ODD

I also received the Unknown call from this number this morning and the machine picked up with a creepy man's voice asking for me by my first name. It's just creepy and wrong if it is SCE. The called didn't say who they were or from.

This is a scam call pretending to be SCE. I called SCE, They have no telemarketing campaign for anything. I called the number back from my home phone. It was NOT SCE. They called my cell phone which SCE does NOT have.

i just received a missed call from that number. There was a voice mail left but when i listened to it, there was only background noise. It sounded like several other people in the room making other outgoing calls. very strange...

This number belongs to CA Edison. It would be great if they left a message regarding the call. They have called me at least 3 times and never left a voice-mail.

Received scam telemarketer request for SCE this morning to "help notify me when to expect a larger than normal bill in advance".  I "declined" the offer as I live in an apartment and that is not necessary.

claimed to be sce, only used my first name... told them they were very unprofessional and that i wasnt interested in their program and hung up.

Dang fools called and did not leave a message.  WARNING

They keep calling n calling. Blowing up my phone. Man left a message, foreigner. Could not understand him. Sickbof these people.

He called me and he said "ÿou are too fast"and hung up.

This idiot claimed he was Edison the ID showed unknown they are scammers telemarketing something  told to stop calling I am on thre DNC list but this means nothing to them...

I also got a call that hung up before leaving any msg... To my knowledge, a public utility would not employ a telemarketing outfit to promote any offers they might have???

SO. CAL Edison - wanting me to sign up for a program to help me keep track of my energy use.....isn't that what online is for and my meter??

Received an offer last week through the mail (Sept 2012) by mail on SCE letterhead and reply envelope addressed to their Rosemead, CA address (identical to all my other correspondence I receive from SCE) offering a 10.00 gift card to either Amazon, Fandango or MasterCard if I enroll in Edison Smart Connect Budget Assistant by Oct 31 2012.
It provided a internet access address and a Personal code..I could not access , enroll of find any link to this offer.
I called SCE and they have no idea, then I was transferred to their internet marketing dept., they have no idea what this offer is.

Anyone else get this offer or know anything about it.??

Also got the call requesting to speak with the person named on our SCE bill promoting a free program called budget assistant but was only offered a $10 reward card!

Edison Electric Company calling about "Smart Connect" program.

Southern California Edison called again this morning and I answered it. They just wanted to know if I had received the mailer regarding their new Smart Connect tool called "Budget Assistant."

I had received the mailer and signed up immediately because they are giving out $20 rewards cards on a first come first serve basis.

Again, this caller is promoting the "Budget Assistant"  tool to help you manage your electricity usage costs.

let ring so message manager could start....  left no message, "Unknown Number" "Unknown Name" on Caller ID.  On level pay plan with Edison, but if you know Edison their Math is worse than a first grader that hasn't had math yet. .. If they need me they can email me, I'm on paperless billing and they email me all the time anyway.
