Repeated recorded calls from Walgreen's the past few days, touting flu shots. I called back (855-492-4358) and spoke to an agent who transferred me to customer service. Customer service agent took all my info and said my number would be removed from their list. She gave me a case number to use if the calls persisted. I guess we'll see.

Walgreen Drug Stores keep caqlling about flu shots and when I call the number the operator says I dialed the wrong number or its not in service anymore.

You need to file your complaints with the FCC on their web page for "abandoned" calls and also with the Federal Trade Commission's Do Not Call website to post formal complaints. Posting here is helpful to others, but doesn't penalize the offenders. Repeated complaints to the gov may bring some action if there are enough problems. They need to have enough info to prosecute. Posts here are a good vent, but little else - complain where it has some teeth!!

No idea who it was, since I don't answer calls that display "Unknown Caller". If they're honest calls, they should have a name. Screw 'em.

This is interesting because I specifically said DO NOT call me when I signed up for Walgreens online. They are purposely violating the agreement. I see this all the time with annoyance calls like that. It's time to make it illegal to allow a pre-recorded voice or auto dialer to make calls, EVER. I am sick to death of these calls and the intrusive behavior of them.

Did not answer, it was a 855- #. We get a lot of extraneous calls. Never had this problem in NY. Many of the people we tell them we are NOT interested and they just keep calling. We do not answer unknowns, blanks, privates, anything starting with a 8. Got a cheap Vtech phone. It is cordless and has caller ID on it. Great little phone.
