They don't serve anybody! Idle threats. What they're doing is illegal and u should report them like I did!

Call made to me regarding a party and was way aggressive and threatening statements and making sure someone home m-f 9am to 4pm to sigh and wouldn say wat about or company from aand threatened to go to partys job they have list because i said no one was nor would be home and asked for partys cell number or call party on job. -caller id said unknown # but told me to take this number and a stay of excicution will be applied for 1hr to comply.  im gonna file complaint if i need to with authorities about this harassment.

What's the best way to find out the name of this company, address, etc?

Totally recorded voice mail. No human leaving message. No company name given only reference number. BOGUS!!!!! Love # block feature for iphone!!

Please report them to http://www.consumerfinance.gov/. Or your attorney general or the cops. Yes they are scam artists!

They have called 2 x with 951 showing on caller Id. They ask for my dad who has been deceased since 1999 saying that he has an order to appear. When I told them they apologized and said they would take me off their list. Just got a other call today same situation. They gave me this number to call and I was told there was an order to appear with a bogus case number. I explained that my dad had been dead since 1999 so they ask about my mom. I told them she passed in 2012. They said they would take my number off their list. This is emotionally upsetting to think that someone has filed a lawsuit against my dad.I am thankful to find out that it is a scam. They pry for information but I was cautious because it seemed weird that a lawsuit would be filed almost 14 years after my dad's death.

Have received several calls for me (but with my maiden name) from a 3 digit number and each time they have stated there has been a complaint filed on me and that I have 2 hours to call back.  When I tried to call back no one answered or something saying the company name and when their hours of operation are.  Then tonight my mother-in-law called me and said they called her and left a message.  This time I was told to call 855-492-7141 I called and I got an answering machine stating the name of the "company" Performance Assets Recovery everyone was busy but please leave a message.  

My mom got a call today from these people looking for information on my husband. Telling her that they need to serve legal papers and that if he does not call within the hour then she will be served.  My husband has been working on cleaning up his credit and thought that it was a collection agency.  He talked with the rep to work out payments. The credit card was declined due to max spending limits for the day.  I needed to call the credit card company authorize the transaction. In the mean time I got an email from my credit card company's fraud department stating that there has been recent fraudulent activity on my account. Not only did they try to run my card for the amount they spoke to my husband about, but there were also two other unauthorized charges on the card.

They gave me an address to Postal Annex.... Undeniable proof that they are fake.

Got same message as most of you. Decided to call back because I had been dealing with "TAC" for quite the while. they Answered "Corporate Office, What department do you need?" Decided since I have been dealing with them for quite a while that I would call and get some information on them. Hope this helps anyone.

Had this number call earlier today, though the name asked for was incredibly garbled. They were talking about some complaint and that action would be taken in two hours of no response (what official agency even does that kind of thing? - First red flag there). I just went and deleted the message, but from the looks of things it's starting to get to the point some action should be taken against this guy.

Just received a call from 951 & a guy said something about being served & gave me a number 18554927141 & a 9 digit file #. I came straight to google without calling the number. I'm glad i  did...hope they don't call back.

I received a call from these idiots as well. The guy wanted to know if there would be someone 18 or older at my house, mon-tues because I was being served with papers. I asked what I was being sued for but he couldn't tell me but gave me a number to call and said goodluck I called the # and he answered. Told him how funny it was that he gave me a number to call but he was the one who answered and also told him he was scamming me but he denied it and transferred me over to Mr. Shultz. This guy proceeds to tell me that I owed over $4ooo in interest to capital one and even mentioned a past judgement I had against me. He asked if I wanted to settle the matter out of court, told him I didn't have a job, he then said, "I will see you in court!" I really didn't know what to make of it until I spoke to someone about the call and they said they had received a very similar call. I'm thinking about calling that # and messing with them lol

They called my husbands job saying they are trying to serve court papers to us then two days latter they called my real moms house searching for me funny thing is I already talked to them

received an unwanted call from an unknown number . the caller said he was from the "legal dept" and provided a case number and said that sometime in the next week i would be served legal papers.  the caller did not share any details about who he was or what company he represented or why this was going to happen and said that I should call 18554927141 for more information.

This number is calling my family members saying i am being sued and gave a court number. They even called my 14 year old daughter on her cell phone scaring her to run home and give me the info.

Received call from a Nicole Walker stating she was from TAC debt collection. This number is a scam. I talked to real company called TAC and they are trying to find out where the false company is located so they can catch these people.

Apparently, this number has been harassing my family and friends, trying to locate me, telling them to 'drag me to court' and 'they have papers to send me'.

Checked with the local Police Department and the State Police.  They know nothing of such 'papers' and the courts have no knowledge of a court date scheduled for me.

This is harassment, and anyone else called on my behalf will report these dudes to the police and then send *them* court papers.

This company started calling my boyfriend today in regards to a Visa credit card that they claimed he had from 2001 but when my boyfriend told them he never had a Visa they switched it to a Capital One card that was opened in 2001. They told him his wages would be garnished and anything he owned would be taken. This sounded strange to me so I decided to call and find out exactly what was going on, after being transferred I spoke with Mr. Schultz who told me that we both would be taken to court for the credit card balance which was 5,000.00. I then told him how could I be taken to court for something that I didn't do and that I legally have nothing to do with. I found it strange that I could call and access my boyfriends account with out being his spouse and even more strange how did they get information about me? We don't own anything together or live together... I am baffled by this and I am wondering what I should do? This person obviously has personal information to know that I am associated with my boyfriend in some way and he knew what type of car my boyfriend drove and when it was purchased. This makes me extremely nervous and I really need help with this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much!...I'm waiting to see what happens after 2 hours since I am not calling these fools back!! And on what grounds do they have to even try and arrest me for?? These people are scum of the earth!! I hope no one falls for this scam!!

PG, please see my post above and read through the other posts here..  many others do indeed seem to be getting these calls.   Threatening you is illegal and against the FDCPA laws (links above).. If you where to actually be served with a court summons, they would not call you! Real legal servers do not call in advance..

Report these calls, and do consider getting a call blocker, either a device or phone..

This guy just called me and said I have 2 hours to call them back....Call them back for what? Well, apparently there has been a complaint filed against me?....He left a case number: 2013-1837. And the number he left was 855-492-7141 and it showed up on my cell phone as "UNKNOWN NAME" 951. Is anyone else dealing with this?? The calls won't stop!!!
