They called me stating I owed over 1,ooo dollars for a pay day loan I susposedly took out in 2008 I tried to get the address of their company and they would not give it to me. They said they were going to put fraudulant charges on me and I  said I would gladly pay this if They would send me written information about their company the company they are collecting for and the amount I owe. They got very rude and kept interupting me and calling me low life scum!! I said I need your address so that I can send you copies of my debt being paid off because it was paid off in 2010. And they said they would be sending a summons to my house and I would have to pay triple the amount but they could give me a cheaper payoff if I agreed to pay it now. I finally told them to go ahead and send the summons because I know that they are not a legit company and I would be calling an attorney and  also I will file a complaint with the FTC and the telephone company! and they hung up on me!! SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!!!!

I got that same call today from a 678-228-0590 which is a Georgia number and she said her name was Cora Smith with Firm of Intrinsic. She left me a detailed voicemail looking for my Aunty. Says my Aunty has me listed as her point of contact. B***s*** cuz I haven't spoken to my Aunty in years since she moved away. Being that I am an investigative person I called the lady back and told her off, she was very rude and hung up on me. I then googled her number and the Firm name and my husband called one of the contacts listed on their website. This gentleman said they did not have an office in Georgia and that they only evaluate businesses. They do not contact individuals regarding legal allegations. This lady is now ignoring my calls and I believe it's because she realized I am not falling for her scam!!!

I got a call.saying I owe money and someone wants to take me to.court and she couldnt give enough information so I don't her to stop calling

Recieved several calls from Intrinsic Financial claiming to be a debt collectioni do not give out personal info they are rude if you get a call from them ignore it

Im curious to know has anyone been taking to court by these people?  Ive been contacted by them as well! They tell me the same thing the letters on the way but have not received anything!  The FTC states that after 5 day of being contacted by a debt collector you should receive information throught the MAIL how hard is to send something through the mail they email and talking about faxing.

i keep getting calls from number 855 504 4116 asking for a MARTHA MODA - i have no idea who this person is or why they are looking for her.  she gave some randome number that happens to be mine and insted of her getting these crazy calls i am.  please get a detective and locate this person and stop calling me.

Something is missing here.  In order to garnish your wages there had to have first been a court judgement against you for the amount of the debt and you should have been served with a summons for the initial court appearance. Then after a judgement against you was reached there would have been a court order for the garnishment which you should have also received.  Unless you moved after the loan and they did not have your current address, you should have received those papers by certified mail or in person from a process server.

If you have an actual summons you need to respond and appear in court on the date and time in the summons.  Failure to appear will result in an automatic judgement against you at which time they can get a court order to garnish up to 25% of your wages until the debt is paid.  Unfortunately your best chance to try and work out something you could afford was after the company provided the actual proof about the debt and their right to collect.  All you can do now is hope for a kindly judge who will help arrange payments you can make.  You may also be eligible for a Public Defender but that depends on the laws in your state and county.

Please!!! I really need someone's help. I've been ignoring these folks from intrinsic and they just keep calling. I finally got a notice in the mail from my sheriff's dept. It was a complaint and summons. I've done what everyone said, I ask for dates and validation, and they confirmed it. The only problem is I know I actually owe the bill. I took out a loan back in 2008 from quickcash, for only 300 and they've added on interest since then. I can't afford an attorney, or the legal fees they say will be tacked on. Someone please give me some advice. Do I show up in ct. or just keep ignoring these people?

I thought this was a scam too until my paycheck was GARNISHED last Friday by this company. I tried contacting them and they said that the only way they will stop the garnishment is if I pay the account off. I don't think they are a fraud, I think they use overly aggressive collection methods, but if they are able to find you then they will certainly garnish you. I'm being garnished $363.00 every two weeks until I pay off $3,000.00. They added court and legal fees to my balance. These people are very rude and don't care, but it is a real company.

These people have called me as well about a payday loan i took out in 2009. I became very sick since that time and i had good attentions on paying back the loan and i have kept that promise in paying these people. I have been paying faithfully even month.The amount i borrowed in 2009 was a little over $700.00 dollars but when i received their letter way back in Nov.2012 the amount was 3 times the amount.I have been doing all i can to take care of this debt but due to paying these people. I now can not afford to pay 3 of my bills monthly...like all of you Natale has also threated me with filing papers at my local county courts office about fraud concerning the payday loan. I must say i have always felt funny about the company and paying them. Now, I see i was right!! from reading all of your comments that blows me away. I did not know these people we're frauds!! I asked Natale to send me out a copy of the dates and the amounts i owed and she said some other dept.was sending that out in 7 days but i have not seen anything as of yet.So, I called her back asking her why i haven't received my copy of the dates and the amounts she seemed puzzled and asked who i was so i told her my name and she said' ,Oh i requested them they should be on the way. I have not seen anything in 2months.  I have paid over $600 so far to these people.If anyone can answer these questions please reply back to this site. Cora Smith called me for a debt that I was presently working with someone else to payoff and she also called my parents home too with the the information of an alleged summons, they had family member names that was never listed on the original debt as contacts.

Recieved several calls from Intrinsic Financial claiming to be a debt collection company starting in february telling me I owed $700.00 from a payday loan company in MI from 2008. I filed bankruptcy in 2011 and included the loan company in the bankruptcy A "John Anthony" fron  intrinsic said I still owed thw debt ,that it was not part of the bankruptcy, told him to contact my lawyer. "John" gives me a number to call back at the 734 794 3078 does not accept incoming calls "John" gives antoll free number 855 504 4116. The debt was discharged in the Bankruptcy, Intrinsic Financial demanding money from with legal threats I got the paperwork to prove the debt was discharged in bankruptcy. They are nothing but a SCAM If anyone else has anyinfo re Intrinsic Financial I love to hear it

This woman named Ms. Smith keeps calling my sister and saying she is pressing fraud charges against me, she is a scam and has my sister worried to death, I assured my sister and need her to stop bothering her...who do I contact?

I got the same call yesterday. She wanted me to fax it then I did cause I had paid it but then she never wanted to send me a confirmation she was saying oh your taken care of. I reported these people to ftc and my local police.
They had all my information when she called s.s addresses etc even my drivers lic number.
Don't give any info unless they give you info.

I received the same call from the same person omg!!! these people are crazy and there is no way am paying 1400 on a 300 loan not going to happen.

She then begain calling me back from 6782280590. She just kept calling and hanging up. Real mature. I hate scam artist.

I got a call from a Ms. Smith. She too was threating legal action against me. I asked for a physical address so that I could send a certified letter from my attorney and she would only give me a pob. She evently hung up on me.

Don't stress. This company is called intrinsic they buy old debts and use scare tactics like fraud, u.s. Marshall, court. Too get to you. I dealt with Ms. Smith also she had all my siblings names bit my info was outdated.  Always go to spokeo do 800 numbers!

I got call from this number from an Investigator Jeff Dean, stating I must return his call about a check fraud issue....I don't write checks. If he was legit he would have called my home number not the building managers number....just saying.

I had a messaged today from a Ms. Smith.  The number in the message was 1-855-504-4116.  Said that there were alleagtaions of fraud against my name driver license....  She called my mom and said I had to call them by 3pm.  She then left a message on my voice mail.  threating me that it is to late and to contact her about a case number.  My brother has received calls also.  He said it sounded fishy and that was a month ago.  It has unnerved me a lot.  Oh the company name is intrensic firm.  Any one get same company.  I have 7 kids to support and don't need this stress in my life.  Any help please.

i received a call from this number today very rude Ms. Smith, looking for my mother it scared the hell out of me she was stating that my mother had allegations of fraud and there was a case at the county clerk thanks  for all this info, i wont even bother calling back
