received the exact same call today, have gotten these kinds of calls before, they never show up, do not call these people back!!  it is a scam that I believe i fell victim to the first time i ever got one, never making that mistake again, go ahead and serve me for all i care b/c you always threaten and never show up, they don't warn you, they just do it, do not believe these people.  Unavailable number, "chris reynolds" left a vm and let me a "claim number" saying "i'm not sure if you need this" blah blah blah, same thing!!

Its a scam.  He doesn't give the party name that is suing me.  I just got a call as well.

Did anyone show up at your house?

I just received the same exact message from an "Unknown" number. It is my understanding that if you're being served, the serving agent just shows without warning. I, too, have no intention of returning the call.

Today I received a telephone call from a "Blocked" number, which, of course, I did not answer.  A "Chris Reynolds" left a voice mail message stating he was with a "legal courier services" and he had a "certified notice of intent to appear" in my name which was to be executed by them on.  However, he was "giving me the opportunity to discuss the matter before it was executed" (whatever that meant).  He gave me a "claim number", CXX6xxxx". He said I was to call 855-510-9959 if I wished to contact the other party before was "served".  He said he was contacting me as a "courtesy" in order that I could avoid any "embarrassment" over the holiday weekend. Based upon the vast amount of information on the internet warning of such scams, including states' attorney generals and the Federal Trade Commission, I have no intention of calling this number and wanted to post this information for the benefit of 800notes readers. Several months ago I received a similar telephone (different number of course).  "Mr. Reynolds'" voice did sound vaguely familiar (different name of course) :)
