Received a call today telling me there was a problem with my banking account.
Asked for home address three times. Bogus call. Will now have to check account daily to
be sure nothing posts.
Did give us this number said his name was Chad Sparks...

I received a call from a Jeff Kennedy, from Legal Allied USA, wanting to renew my Grandmothers subscription for fraud protection on her bank account. He wanted permission to deduct $369.00 from my grandmothers bank account to renew the annual fraud protection on the account. He told me the bank routing number and then rattled off a bogus account number and asked if it was still good.
I asked for a call back number and he he gave me the 855-523-3872 number. I asked for a supervisor and he said he did not know their name.
I then informed him that he was full of $hit and that i controlled all the banking transactions.
My grandmother lives in a small town with only one bank. The caller had called previous times claiming that they were from the local bank and asked if she had any problems with their services.
She told them she was happy with the bank.
By doing this they then knew she banked with that bank and could easily find the bank routing number and call back another day and try to fish her account number from her by sounding like they really were from the bank.
Remember Banks don't call and ask for information....They already have it.
