The sad thing about the elders getting scammed out of all their retirement money is that the scammers get it before their grown children can bleed them out of it.

Same thing. They asked for $6.95. They wanted to know my Visa/Mastercard number. I stated I had no credit cards. Then they asked if I had a debit card. I said no. THEY hung up! It's a scam to get your credit card numbers...DO NOT FALL FOR THIS!!!

I received a postcard in the mail to call and claim a $100 gift card. The postcard has no company identification. When I called the number, it was answered by someone who sounds like he is from/in India. He did not provide any kind of identification. He said they would send me the gift card but I had to give them my VISA or Mastercard number to pay the activation fee. I told them I wasn't interested and hung up.
