I have been receiving these calls for about three years. Report them to FTC, FBI, and local police. No one seems to really want to help because it appears they are operating out of India and they move locations frequently. They also change phone numbers frequently because they use prepaid phones. They will quit calling and I do not hear from them for a couple of months and they start back calling. It is a scam and I wish someone would stop them because at one point my employer was getting upset over them calling my job until I showed them a letter I received from the FTC stating this was a scam. It just appears something could be done to stop them. So annoying!

the problem with these bottom feeders is they are using out of date contact info - I got a new phone # 3 years ago unfortunately the "new" number previously belonged to deadbeats. Every collection call I get is for these people. so at this point I do not answer my phone unless it is someone I know.

Gee, we'll all have to remember that! Maybe we can use them to track down bogus debt collectors who hide so that they can't be served those summons, for all those law suits, for all those violations of state & federal debt collection regulations.
You're a joke pal!
Skeff Ett Liv!

these people call my sons phone 4 to 5 times a day.....never leave a message except once - a threatening message was left in detail about a summons and serving papers by a deputy if the person they were asking for did not respond by 12pm end of day. I answered a few times and explained they are calling a childs phone and people have been rude and demanding that i was the person they were asking for......finally when i stated they have incorrect number the person on phone have all been quick to hang up and stated they will not contact number again .......the number continues to call and i do not know how to make it stop...... whenever i answer they all do the same thing and dont even give time to ask questions they just are quick to hang up and number is never removed from their list ! I hope someone has the resources to shut these damn people down ........this is crap and harrassement in the most threatening way !

I have an extremely loud & annoying rape whistle, I will be sure to demonstrate it on them the next time they call. That whistle has stopped other places from calling LOL. Thanks for the heads up everyone. I hate these annoying f*ckers!!!

Whatever you do....... DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION!!! EVER!!! They are a scamming 3rd party collection bottom feeder company. They will take your personal information and commit fraud themselves by forging documents to collect your money. Things like getting your bank account number and doing a EBT (Electronic Bank Transaction/withdraw) and say you authorized it over the phone. Never, never give or confirm any information they might already have. It will cost them hefty atty fees to take you to court. They will not and do not have the authority to serve you papers or arrest you. Only the sheriff's department can do that. If you think that you may have a warrant, call your local county law enforcement agency and ask them if you have any outstanding warrants. You can report them to the FBI for impersonating a law enforcement agent, like I did.

Some rude witch called today, looking for someone who doesn't even live here. Demanded I take a message for them. This person they are looking for doesn't even reside here and hasn't in the past 40yrs that we have had the phone number. She was nasty and had such a bad attitude. I keep telling them the person they are looking for doesn't live here and never has. Stop calling this number! This number calls me everyday, early in the mornings. What a bunch of idiots! I have filled complaints with the FCC and the FBI. Hopefully they will do something to make this collection agency stop calling. They are wasting time their time calling and bothering us since we don't even know the person they are looking for. Here's the kicker! They are going to serve me with a warrant and they don't even have my name! LOL!!! I told them to bring it on, face to face. We'll get this resolved real quick with a call to my local police when they arrive. I was hung up on!

Extortion Scam Related to Delinquent Payday Loans
Washington, D.C.
December 07, 2010 FBI National Press Office
(202) 324-3691
The Internet Crime Complaint Center has received many complaints from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams. Callers claim the victim is delinquent in a payday loan and must repay the loan to avoid legal consequences. The callers purport to be representatives of the FBI, Federal Legislative Department, various law firms, or other legitimate-sounding agencies. They claim to be collecting debts for companies such as United Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Net, and other Internet check-cashing services.
According to complaints received from the public, the callers have accurate data about victims, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, employer information, bank account numbers, and the names and telephone numbers of relatives and friends. How the fraudsters obtained the personal information varies, but in some cases victims have reported they completed online applications for other loans or credit cards before the calls started.
The fraudsters relentlessly call the victim?s home, cell phone, and place of employment. They refuse to provide any details about the alleged payday loans and become abusive when questioned. The callers have threatened victims with legal actions, arrests, and, in some cases, physical violence if they do not pay. In many cases, the callers harass victims? relatives, friends, and employers.

These folks just called me-- told me I was going to be arrested today-- when I asked for what? and I do not have anything that is illegal going on-- he kept interupting me- when I asked to finish what I was saying he said- no I will not let you finish- and you are a rotten scum bag= a dirty person-- Then hung up. Tried to call back- no answer. If this was legit I would have expected a more professional behavior to resolve whatever issue- Not sure what they are talking about- but threatening people is not the way to handle anything. Sounds fishy-!!! Guy named ALex - who supposely is in legal---

Just called me. Came up Unavailable so I did not answer. They did not leave a message. After reading above, I have never had a payday loan. With my credit rating I could walk into any bank and get a loan at a much lower interest. I wish there was a way to stop these crooks.
| Tiredofthis 2014-04-18 14:09:39 Debt Collector |
Someone called named Mark Morgan and they even called my job. They said I owed a payday loan and even though I knew that I did not owe the person was so forceful. I paid and three days later someone called about the same issue. It is time for this fraud to stop. I fell prey to this, just think how our older citizens feel. If they cannot send you a statement through the mail and tell you who the claim is from...Do Not Pay. In the United States, you cannot go to jail for owing any type of loan..There is no debtors prison in the USA. Please help to stop this fraud...Citywide, ACE, Grey Hill beware of calls from these companies.

I just spoke with Kaylee Smith who said she was with the County of Santa Clara. She has a summons to serve on me, however, cannot open said document. I need to call 855-535-2157 with a case number and work something out with them. They could set something up and handle this matter. If I do not do this she will come to my home with a deputy to serve the summons. I asked for her phone number so I could call her back and check if it was indeed coming from Santa Clara County and she said I cannot give that information to you. Very strange call and I can see why people panic and commit suicide with these type of threatening calls.

Special deputy Mark Morgan calling and threating to serve me papers if I dont pay them at least half of the money to a payday loan I had 5 years ago, i have paid this debt not once but twice, and currently filed law suit against orginal debt company check n go. AS of today i have received 32 collection calls about this same issue, deffinatly harassment, and I am lucky I have saved all my communications and payment verifications.
