Me too, just got off with this guy!!

I asked him ip address that was having a problem and he gave me 191.167.1.173 - some cellular co in Brazil as per whois.

Phone # 855-537-3593.

Luckily I know enough of my way around tech to avoid getting scammed, just hope these guys steer clear of my parents!

Same thing. A lot of noise like there is a whole call center for these scammers. I told him that in our country the cow is dinner and not worshipped. He told me he eats cow too. I told him he can eat a cow, but he won't get access to my computer....

Just called me.  Said he was from windows technical department and there was something wrong with my windows.  I pretended that I didn't understand and said that I have Anderson windows and hung up.  

Have received two calls from this number in the past two days.  Name displays as Soomu Vejju.  The first time after I answered their was silence for about three seconds and then a robotic voice said goodbye.  Today there was no one on the line and it disconnected after several seconds.

Someone called from 855-537-3593 said he was from windows and there is something wrong with my computer and to turn it on and he would help me step by step to fix.

Someone called to say they were from Windows and I am having a problem with my computer.  News to me!
