court summons eh?  Same number was left for me but for writing a bad check  LOL  Since I've never written a bad check, not much to worry about  :D

Nicole Jones called me today trying to locate me about a court summons and that it is a legal matter if i can contact Sophia white AT (855) 283-3912 with a Case Number they provided me.

I have been getting these phone calls as well. And, they have even called my parents home and cell phones. They have correct information about me... socia s l#, address, email address and an old bank account.
I was wondering if anyone else on here has heard from them since posting on here or if you were actually summoned??

This is a version of the you-have-committed-a-crime extortion scam and you are being...
1. summoned/investigated/charged/whatever with fraud/embezzlement/passing_bad_checks/whatever or
2. served with a court_summons/arrest_warrant/bench_warrant/whatever or
3. located in preparation to_being_served/for_a_lawsuit/to_be_arrested/whatever or
4. sued for cable TV usage that you've been stealing for years or
5. whatever stupid crap reasons they will think up next.

And you have to...
1. call back with your case number or
2. confirm your address/birthdate/SSN/whatever so you can be served or your papers processed or
3. pay $895 now to avoid paying $5,000 in court or
4. whatever stupid crap reasons they will think up next.

Beware extortion scams come in many flavors and they constantly evolve to stay one step ahead of the law.

I have received the same call from a Lisa Simmons phone numbers were 855-541-4867 and 855-666-5526 ext 324. So this may be a scam?

I received this same call from two different women and two different numbers indicating that I will be subpeona to appear in court and that they will find me to serve the papers? Ummm...guess what I have not moved and still at the same job, so they have had plenty of times to serve me the papers. These people whoever they are are using a scare tactic for you to give them a call back. They will not tell me the companys name therefore I will not provide them with any info. Good luck with finding me!

I am getting the same messages from a "Julie Waters". But today they called my sister looking for me!

Received an extremely nasty call tonight from someone named Dan Smith telling me that I have a summons for court. Also stated that it was in my best interest to call 855-541-4867 as soon as possible to save myself the embarrassment of going to court. Idiots!

I received a very nasty call from this number and they indicated that they were going to have me summoned to court.  They say they are from a company called liberty legal group.  The so call lawyer was very unprofessional.  Guess I will see them in court.

rec'd call from 2 diff people indicating they have a summons for me and are trying to avoid me the embarrassment of going to court.  left no. 855-541-4867 which is Planos District Court (NOT!) - and if they don't hear from me they will come to serve me on my job or at home.   I'll be waiting at home since I retired a long time ago.............
