They called again and I talk to them about sending something about the payment that are asking me to send them, they couldn't send me anything they told me that after I pay the debt off them they will send me something. I then ask them how do I know if I'm paying the on debt and all they could say is....if you cant pay it then good luck and hung the phone....these ppl are just RUDE and don't CARE!!!!!

I got the same call described and when i called to ask they send me verification they refuse even refuse to give me and address to send a written request. I talked to my lawyer he said ignore them if someone sites up at our home our work to call the police because they cannot do that. Otherwise he said we have done or part and just ignore them.

Just ignore them.  See advice midway down from "Helper" - ask for verification of the debt, DO NOT give them your address b/c if they're a LEGITIMATE debt collector, they'll have it.  Do not give them ANY information at all and do NOT be intimidated by them.  Just tell them they need to send verification and hang up.  If the number comes up again, ignore it.  And keep ignoring it.

Don't know if I need to talk to a lawyer about this, but this number has called me at work for the past 3 weeks and called me on my personal phone leaving rude message...this is the number 855-544-4178...I'm tired of these ppl!!!!!!!!! ?

This person keeps calling me from 855-544-4178. he said he wants to serve me with papers.  he is yelling and saying I need to call this company nationwide.

I just recieved a call from a local number referring me to 855-544-4178. He said he wants to serve me with papers and that I have "one chance" to fixed this. When I called the number the automated message says that the company is called Nationwide.

I just received a message from a local number but she left me this 855 544 4178 number to call and told me that I have just been notified of my "case number" and need to call back for my "one chance" to take care of this debt. I am assuming this is the same scam all of you are referring to. I am concerned that my info was retrieved my auto financing company (Ally). Have any of you done business with this company? If so, are there any alerts to you that our information was "compromised" or "stolen"??

"IF they do not provide you with the verification of the debt, the debt is invalid and not subject to collection.  PAY NOTHING TO ANYBODY UNLESS THEY PROVIDE YOU WITH WRITTEN VERIFICATION OF THE DEBT, AND ONLY THEN IF YOU FEEL THE DEBT IS VALID - otherwise, let them sue you for the debt, as a real law firm will only bring a legal action on a truly valid debt".

Got a call from 855 544 4178, telling that they were going to serve me with paper on a debt and if I didn't send a payment in that I would have to appear in court, don't know what to do so confused ?

This company is very rude. they say they want to help with an outstanding debt, but want you to pay them first and dont want to send you any paperwork regarding your case.

I get a  call from 312 area code telling me to call them - It is a scam - they have stolen part of your info and are trying to intimidate you into paying them money - I reported them to the FTC

i got messages treating me i check the numbe714 380-0300 is from a construction company im confused now  i think i would made a complaint at the FTC too

Got a call from (714) 384-0300 directing me to call 855-544-4178.  Looks like it might be a colleciton agency.  Some of their practices appear to be a violation though.  I submitted a complaint to the FTC on them.  Easy to do, I'd recommend anyone getting calls does the same.

Incidentally, if you tell them to stop calling they're supposed to.  If they don't it would be another voilation to report to the FTC.
