I received a call leaving this same call back number on my machine.  The company is RSB Equity Group.  Their website is rsbequitygroup.com.  Yes, they are debt collectors.  You can get all of their info on their website.  WRITE them (rather than calling) advising to stop calling you, unless of course, they have a legitimate claim.  

Received call today from these dirt bags telling me of a payday loan I defaulted on and I needed to pay restitution or face criminal charges what do these morons think I am not stupid it is not illegal to owe a debt and you can not be put in jail or have your home taken from you or whatever else these a***oles tell you they can do to you . I have gathered as much info on them as possible and am contacting the FTC and my states attorney general's office these low life bottom feeders need to be shut down . Thank you to all who have posted legitimate responses about these Dick wads it truly helps!!!!

HI I ALSO WAS CALLED OUT OF NO WHERE FROM THE EXACT SAME COMPANY "THE EQUITY GROUP OR RSB GROUP" BUT THE MANS NAME WAS CARL MOORE HE WAS NICE AT FIRST, AFTER A HEATED DEBATE OVER RATHER IF I HAD TAKEN THE LOAN OUT IN THE FIRST PLACE, BECAUSE I TRULY DID NOT REMEMBER TAKING OUT ANY LOANS PLUS THE FACT THAT IS WAS FROM 2009 I HAD FORGOTTEN ABOUT ANY LOANS BY NOW. BUT I SIMPLY JUST ASKED FOR HIM OR HIS COMPANY TO SEND ME SOME TYPE OF PROOF THAT THEIR LEGIT AND AN ACCURATE AMOUNT, WHICH THEY DID I CONFIRMED THE CORRECT AMOUNT THAT WAS DEBITED FROM MY BANK OVER THE PHONE AND I AM JUST NOW RECEIVING MY PAID IN FULL DOCUMENT STATING I CLEARED MY DEBT.

To him that's normal. He laughs with his success, he's indignant with his losses. His perception of honor does not apply to ours

I GOT A CLL FRM THIS COMPANY 2 DAYS AGO AND PAY THE AMOUNT THE LADY GAVE ME EVEN THO THE LOAN WAS FRM 2010 I DID NOT PAY IT BACK THE GAVE THIS COMPANY A PPC WITH THE AMOUNT I WAS POSE TO PAY BACK THE LADY GAVE ME A 6 DIGIT CODE (WHICH WAS TO ACT AS A RECEIPT) I HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH THIS COMPANY, I SAY OF YOU BORROWED MONEY FROM THESES COMPANIES AND DID NOT PAY IT BACK YOU CAN SURLY EXPECT PHN CLLS.  

They called me twice. I refused to call them back.

I've been called by this company or others like it multiple times given af least 4 different names they want to talk to. I've never done a payday loan and have only a mortgage payment (current) and credit card (about to pay off- nowhere near at limit or deliquent) Called and the said the phone number they called was removed, but were very rude and hung up on me even when I asked to speak to a supervisor - which the person said they were.

Hi I'm tried of these people call me about a debt i had 2011 when it did not even go into my bank they try to make me pay all this money that I did not get so what can i do

Received meesage while on another call. Similar to prior calls. I've gotten. Obviously scammers. If you do speak to an actual person, do not agree to any settlement or give out any banking or credit card info. Insist on a debt validation letter to be mailed to you listing the so-called debt, acct. #, and creditor. Needs to be sent within five days according to law. Do not accept emails. Also get as much info such as the rep's name, physical mailing address, telephone #, supervisor's name and company's name. Report any scams to the state attorney general and the Federal Trade Commission. Debt collectors are required to follow certain rules as part of the Fair Debt Practices Collections Act and many of these guys violate them so report them. I have no intention of calling them since I know who my creditors are and what bills are owed.
