I got the same call last year in Jan telling me that they was for Loan point USA as well and that they are going to serve me with papers if I do not pay the amount that I borrowed. I paid it and now they are calling back to get more money. I am not happy right now..

I got a phone call from the same 558-4956 number but his name was Eric. I listened tohim and became skeptical immediately. I hung up after calling the 1-866-981-6401 number that I was given and called my lawyer. He told me that this was not the way a legal processing service operates and that I was to give them no information. I called them back and advised them that my attorney would like an address and phone number for the "process server" so that he could retain my legal paperwork and they hung up on me. I have not heard from them since and DOUBT I will ever again. They are such scammers and I wish everone best of luck and don't panic they are not real legal anything.

Does anyone have their company name and address so we can sue them Globally.

I have received so many phones calls from 855-583-2042 (Karen Hart) or something like that.... she kept calling my job and I was just let go from my job and now I have no job and the bills are starting to pile up.
She kept saying she needed my address to serve me with papers or i will have to handle this in court. she stated that I was officially NOTIFIED. I don't understand why this kind of companies have to harass people to the point of loosing your job..... Can someone please advise me on what I can do to put a stop to this?
The only debts I have are my car, my rent, and school. PLEASE HELP.... thank you so much

Hey... just wanted to give a little info about the phone number 855-583-2042.... Got another call from Melissa Gordan about serving me papers, so I called this number... found out that the company name is called Global and they're a collection agency collecting on behalf of Loan Point USA. They wanted me to set up payment arrangements on an old payday loan. I had at first spoke with a nice man by the name of Jeremy, told him that Melissa had said I needed to request a release form to stop the process of serving me papers. He said he couldn't authorize it and put me in touch with his supervisor (Kyle Davis)When I asked for an address to send the payments to, he said they don't accept checks.. only debit, credit cards or prepaid cards. Told them that I couldn't give my card number over an open phone line and that's when he told me to call from my cell phone but couldn't send out the release form to Melissa until I did so... So now, I guess I just have to wait to be served papers before handling this... Hope my little bit if info about this number helps

Just got another call on my cell phone... same lady(didn't leave her name though, but recognized the southern accent) but this time caller ID showed a local number of 609-543-2294 with the same call back number of 855-583-2042 and her message this time stated that she has verified my address for service of process, there are CHARGES against YOU, says I have until she reaches me personally to address this matter with mediation.. gave the same claim number 161016, still no firm name, and finished her call with "this is your FINAL NOTIFICATION"

Received a call today from a Tom Peterson from a local number 219-558-4956 saying that he needed my address to serve me papers. I asked him what this was in reference to and he told me that I needed to call 855-583-2042 with the claim number 160342. When I called I talked to a Steven Andrews his direct ext. was 324. When I spoke with him he told all of my information and said that he is a representative of Global.  in reference of Loan Point USA with Geneva Roth Capital. They are saying that it is about check fraud. From a bank that has been closed since 2005. I went along with it and asked them where I was going to be going to court at and they said they did not know.I asked them how much they told me 1800.00 I told them I want to pay the entire payment on Friday. He then told me that because the payment is a large amount they have to break it up into 200.00 payments. After this I went and looked up Global in California and it is a Window Company. I called the FTC and filed a report. They said it is a scam. So my advice is if you are getting these phone calls please call and file a report to the FTC at 877-438-4338.  DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY OF YOUR INFORMATION! If they are supposed to be serving you papers they should already have your address on file. Good Luck Everyone.

I have received three phone calls from a local number (727-378-1048) and had messages from a Diane Martin.  The first 2 phone calls told me to call back a completely different number (866-981-6401) and this last message I just received told me to call 855-583-2042 but the "claim number" was the same.  My research has come up with that the 866# is a scam and/or relating to payday loans.  They keep saying they are going to serve me.  However, I had similar harassing phone calls a year or so ago and nothing ever happened.  They call and harass my Mom.  These are horrible people and not nice to speak to.  Going to do my best to ignore them like I did last time.  Ho hum.  Good luck everyone!

This lady by the name of Melissa Gordan called my place of employment today, spoke with my store manager.. and called my cell phone (left a message) said that I needed to return her call to provide an address where they can serve me papers or they were going to serve me at work... She provided a case number as well, and ended her voicemail with "remember you have been NOTIFIED"... I've been scammed in the past and yes, I do have some outstanding debts.. So do I take this call seriously or not?? Don't want to call and get burned again if they are in fact scammers.. Has anyone been able to get an actual firm name or any further info out of these people?? Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Got a call from this number at my place of employment and said they need to know an address to serve me papers...asked what this was pertaining to and they gave me a case number and this number to call to inquire what was going on.

Received a message regarding Mr. Robert Delgado regarding his charges (message was from "Carol"). When called back 855-583-2042, they said that the claim number was 160037 and they have my cell phone number as "Mr. Robert Delgado".

they need to stop calling and the crazy thing is that they dont even call my house they call my moms.

Calling for someone who had this cell number over 3 years ago, saying they will be serving papers (process server) about some personal injury claim, threatened court, fines, jail time.  The actual incoming number was 254-629-7165 but the number left on the PARTIAL prerecorded message was 855-583-2042 and a claim number. I called the 855 number and told them it is a wrong number, did not give my name or anything else, just that this number is no longer good for the other person.  We'll see if the calls stop or not.

This is BS,she called my mother in laws house and threaten me with a law suit over a bad check which I do not have.I wish these people would stop harressing me and get a life.Someone should find them and charge them for trying to scam people out of money.This is nothing but a fraud.
