They are commuting fraud and you should report them to your attorney general immediately. Also contact you local authorities if they are pretending to be representing any form of legal counsel, county authority, mediator, etc. as this is illegal as well.

I received a call from 855-599-9500 on February 25th 2013 and April 16, 2013 supposedly David Lewison but from a man named Steven Wilson who said David was not available and I had to deal with him.  When I tried to decipher what debt he was talking about, he became extremely rude when I would not give him any banking information or credit card information and said he'd see me in Court

Another company similar, called with the same story, threatened to serve me, next day. 6X original debt. I settled, paid, they never sent documents. They were crooks. Now this company is after me, same debt. I've various folks chase me down for more than 7 years a debt that has since fallen off my credit report. An item I disputed b/c I never received it. Mine is a case of zombie debt. Now this outfit is leaving messages. Case # blah blah...

This is a scam guys.  Pure and simple, the aggression they use would terrify some people into blindly paying some amount of money.  If you have delinquent bills or debts they will be on your credit report.  Especially if the they were involved with the police.

i actually recieved a cll from these folks abt a year ago they gv me the address in canada i ws tld tht i ws gnna go to jail court and a whole bunch of other nonsense tht goes along wth it i waited and waited never recvd papers in the mail they finally clld again wth the same bull i took a trip to rochester ny last week to go to my husbands family member funeral to find tht canada ws abt a hour and a half away so we drove there to see if we could meet wth there folks face to face i clld bck their number and spk wth a mr wilson on my way there he must have thought i ws pulling his leg he ws very rude but i arrived at the building to find tht there actually is a office there he didnt wrk there  but i ws able to spk wth a very nice lady there who ws a attorney and stated tht the only offices there is for the attorneys tht is the corporate headquaters

I had the same exact voicemail left on my phone , so, googled and read that lot of people have claimed this company to be fraud/ scam. Just e-mailed my lawyer abt this and will keep you guys posted . so wait and  see. I"m in Arlington mass BTW

This number calls me  every Wed at the exact same time. They want to to voluntarily resolve this issue, but no idea what the issue is. The give me some case #. I called the number back that they call from (which is not the number they tell me to call on the message) The man was very rude and would not give me any information. he just kept asking me information. I refused.

I got the same message from David Lewiston! They do ahve my name. They call every Wednesday at the exact same time. I have called it back and refused to give them my name. they wont answer any questions when I ask them! I am so tired of this call.

The SOL has most likely expired in your state....don't give them a DIME, that would give the legal right to collect from you.  They are scum bags!!! I have them calling my house looking for someone with the same last name as mine, I tell them that the person they are looking for does not live in my home, they said they will remove my number but they still continue to call.  They even contacted my neighbor looking for the same person.  If you can get their address send them a cease and desist letter via certified mail, then they have to stop calling, if they don't you contact a lawyer.  Trust me I've had to do this for many of these places that are harassing me while they are looking for someone.

I just filed a complaint with the Florida State Attorney General saying that I suspect that this may be the same company harassing me and others along with the phone numbers that I was called from and asked to call as well as the name David Lewiston. I suggest others consider doing the same. If I can confirm that they are the people responsible, I will have them served with a cease and desist order and press charges. I also filed a complaint with my local Attorney General (see my previous entry above).

I have received 2 calls on my home phone from these people. I submitted the following on s c a m b o o k . c o m:

Received a message from 415-829-5248 saying: "I'm attempting to serve notice on record to a (my name) in regard to case file number, XXXXXX naming you as a primary person of interest. This is your official notification of the process". The recording then went on to say if I wanted to voluntarily resolve this claim to call back. Told me to call 855-599-9500 and ask David Lewiston of GMG. I don't have any outstanding debts and my credit reports are clean (checked all 3). There is nothing suspicious on any of them and no recent attempts to obtain credit in my name.

They advised to "NOT to give any credit card or bank account info over the phone". If it is a legitimate collection agency, to "ask them to send a bill in the mail"

watchout those courts can be fake if anyone watch nightline about a year ago they had these fraud
people on there do you homework before going to there trap.....

Trying to collect on a debt that is past SOL. This is Global  Management Group. They will try and say they are getting judgement against you.

I got a message on our answering machine from David Lewiston , Phone: 855-599-9500; Director of GMG with a file #.  They were asking for my daughter, he had her full name, including her married name.
I passed the info along to my daughter. Of course, she knew nothing about any money problems.
I Googled the area code number and found that it is a number that can be purchased anywhere in the world.
I know our personal information is available to others so be careful whom you give it to.
This definitely is a scam!

Received a message from 214-613-0539 that said he was from the "Claims Department" of GMG and that I was a primary person of interest and if I wanted to voluntarily resolve this claim to call back at 855-599-9500. Gave me a case # & my Son's full name.  I deleted and will NOT call them back!

My fiance received a text from his dad that he got a call from a place claiming to be the legal department of this collection agency. That my fiance needed to call them back at 855-599-9500 ext 124 and to ask for Lesli Clark and even gave a case number for reference. When I called they were very rude and I when I told her she needed to have an attitude at me she hung up I called back and asked for the company name and other info and she told me that my fiance could thank me when he showed up in court an it would be on the docket......... Mind you I work in the legal field and you have to be personally served all summons and motions of intents to start a lawsuit. This group is too funny they claim to be investigators yet you can hear the call center in the background. Don't give them any info

received a phoine call today from ph# 855-599-9500 stating it was of a urgent matter that I take care of a debt that was taken care of long ago.

Today I received two calls on my prepaid phone.  This phone is supplied by Safelink, and I hardly ever use it.  This phone is just for emergencies.  The caller used a computer to say my name, and he did identify himself as David Lewiston.  Since I do not have any unpaid claims anywhere, I am wondering where he came up with my name.  And why on this cell phone?

They are all scams if you owe $ to a payday loan. I was told that goes on your credit nothing else. I have been getting these calls for about 2 years i notice is always around tax season. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!!!! Half the time they don't know how to speak English! No one can be served by a voicemail or email.

I have it set up so any voice mail gets transferred to a text message.

I just received a call from 712-624-7182 a  David Lweiston.  He goes on to say that he is the director of the claims processing department at G and G.  He is attempting to serve notice on record  Gives my daughters name, a case number and says that I am a primary person of interest.  If I want to voluntarily resolve this matter to call 855-599-9500.  He has called me on January 3, 15,18, and 29th.  

Since I am in the process of filing bankruptcy I am saving these calls to my attorney can fix him.

I just checked my voicemail on a prepaid cell phone that I never use and I received the same message. I was going to call them tomorrow to see about the debt but now I am glad that I read these posts. I think I will go with the majority and ignore the calls and not take the advice of the single person on here that is trying to claim them as legitimate. Thanks

So I received a message on my work phone for me to call David Lewiston 855-599-9500 from GMG and that he was a director. I had some fraud thing going on and that he was going to serve me court orders if I do not call right away. I'm so glad I read these comments because I was ready to call the number back back but I was really nervous. What a SCAM.  Yes and all the other comments are similar. Uses the same name to leave message and Steve is the person that answers the call. I actually called and hung up.

I got a call from someone calling himself David Lewiston, director of the claims processing department at GMG.  He said:  "I'm attempting to serve notice on record to a Casey Anderton, in regard to case file number 577789, naming you as a primary person of interest.  This is your official notification of the process, and if you wish to voluntarily resolve this matter, please contact us at 855-599-9500.  Thank you and good day."

What a bunch of nonsense.

I received this exact same message from "David Lewiston" from 855 599 9500.  I was tempted to call and see what this could all be about but then read all of the posts about people calling from this number.  I do believe it to be a hoax.  I kept the name, number and recording on my answering machine but have not nor will not call them back.
