855s are toll-free numbers so the cost of the call is always billed to the 855 number and never to your phone regardless of whether you call the 855 or the 855 calls you.

855 calls are charged to the receiving party so I'm glad they aren't leaving messages.  Same circumstances - a daily call that started about a week ago. As suggested, I'm going to call and have them put me on the No Call list.

This is comcast but they are just calling about promotional offers.   I dialed the number back and that is what the recording said.

Have received 3 calls on my cell phone from this number since 2/16.  I note from above comments, that it is a Comcast call.  Here's my theory.  Since buying my first "smart phone" from Verizon several weeks ago  (dummy me), signing a two-year contract, and plugging in my Comcast email address to this phone, I have had some email-related problems.  Not surprising, as I am also having a string of unknown-telemarketer-type calls from various country-wide area codes on my Comcast land line.  I don't want anymore packages.  I'm not smart enough.

It is Comcast. Call them back and tell them to put you on the "do not call" list. It may take up to 30 days.

Same deal as all the other messages.

I called them back today and it is Comcast.  They never left voice mails and there was never any type of recorded message.  Why have they called once a day for 7 days, I do not know.

it's calling me and i answered once and said hello?? for 5-10 seconds, no response.  since then i just let it go to voice mail, and they don't leave a message and have called everyday this week.

this started a week ago.  It is annoying, no message, i dont answer, at least 3-4 times a day.

I have been getting call from this number for over 8 times and they keep calling.I refuse to pick up the
phone. They ring 3 times each time they call. I am on the "DO NOT CALL" list.  I will not call them back,
but I am keep a list of all Unavailable numbers that call my home.

I am getting continuous calls from this number for no reason and I am on the no call listing.

I get calls from this number as well on my mobile (I don't have a landline).  When I pick up, there's no response.  When I ignore, there's no voice mail.  I have no idea who this is.

It's COMCAST....regarding promotional offers

I get calls from this number several times a day.  My answering machine stays on all day because of calls like this and the never leave a message so they need to stop calling!!!!

This number calls me at least once a day and leaves no message.  VERY ANNOYING.
