I did not pick up and he did actually leave a message.  He said his name is Louie from Fed Ex and he wanted to help maximize our resources for our business.  Then the number called back immediately and left another message.  Same guy, same script.  Delete!

A V W MAX PROF is the caller ID display reference. Incoming phone call rings 3-times and then hangs up. Same caller phones in again, within 5-min and lets the phone ring in 3-times and then hangs up. Suspect they know an answering machine will pickup by the 3rd ring-in and they hang up before it answers. Company answering machine here allows for 5-rings before it answers the call due to our FAX machine will answer the call. Love that FAX machine pre-amble!!!

Yep, it's FedEx, checking on your account. That's all..but must admit not the best system, it could say on Caller Id it's them and save a lot of hassle. Guess that would be too easy..

I think the guy that left this message is part of the scam.   this has scam written all over it.

They said they were from Fed Ex but was asking me when I shipped last, how much I shipped, do I ship internationally, blah blah blah.  I asked, "shouldn't you have this information?" and she said "my system is down".  Shouldn't they be able to look this information up when their system is working?  I think this is a SCAM!

If this is fedex they are very annoying. THey ask you to pretty please ship at least two more fedex packages a month please you can do that for me can't ya! Two more express so I meet my quota. That's pretty pathetic. Imagine me telling my customers that they had to buy more dresses and clothes "just to meet my quota' I don't think I stay in business too long. It kills me when people expect me to buy from them, I should tell him or her they change so often I guess they fire people there if we don't ship enough through them..imagine a recession and all! Like it's their fault if our cusotmers pick up items instead! I should tell them if you buy a dress from me, I will ship it fedex. That kills me. People say buy this from me,then I should say buy this from me but it doesn't work that way. People buy what they need usually dresses, jewelry and accessories not everybody has the same taste. I may want a Mercedes but I can't afford one, they may want my dresses but they can't afford it. i may want to use fedex first overnight but it cuts into my margin. YES FOLKS IT  IS NOT A SCAM and they use my toll free number!

I work for the company calling you and we do work for fedex.we will not call you if you ask us not to and its people like you who make my day hell because your so rude and ignorant that you can't just say no thank you you are an angry person because something in your life screwed you up i don't know if some one treated you that easy your whole life our what but it's bull s*** and you should grow up and Ron your company with some dignity

Just received a call 4/1/13, I answered and the caller hung up.  What gives?

I just got the call and suspiciously asked him for our company FedEx account number if he was from FedEx.
I was surprised when he actually gave it to me. ("Hunh...I guess this guy really IS from FedEx.")
Didn't try to sell me anything - just told me if we want next day service within 400 miles we can choose "ground" and still get next day service.
That info will save my company about $100 a month, so I'm happy with the guy!

FexEx rep calling to shoot the s***.  There's nothing you can do for me...

Just got a call from this number... When I answered they hung up.. You would think if it is really FedEx they would like to talk to ya,,,,,,, but I guess NOT...

Didn't answer call left voice mail pick up.  He left a message saying he was FedEx wanting to improve services.

Tried to say he was in charge of my FedEx account. A lot of "umms" in his little introduction. I have never dealt with FedEx when it comes to sending packages, let alone hand out my cell number to them, or created an account.

Did not ask me what my name was. Only asked how I was doing after his introduction. As far as I'm familiar with, when you deal with a customer you verify with whom you are speaking with regarding their account.

Claims to be from FedEx.  He repeatedly asked for my name, which I would not provide. When I asked what he was calling in regards to he hung up.

So I hear this guy is on the line...saying..."I don't know how else to say this but, you're killing us."  then he laughs and it goes silent and then starts over.  DO NOT ANSWER!

Received a call at 3:01PM- 13SEP12.
No message left on voice mail.

Fedex corporate sales trying to upsell your current Fedex account more services.

This is FEDEX corporate sales calling to drum up business for one's FEDEX account.

Let machine answer, they left no message.  Guess they don't want my business THAT badly.  As always, filed complaint at donotcall.gov.  

I think we need MORE (and tougher) government regulations, not less.  Five years in jail and $100,000 fine for telemarketing!!!
