Received a automated voice mail from this number supposedly from Enbridge with an important message about my account. Since I haven't had an account for several years, I was suspicious and called the Enbridge number on their web site.  Initially the agent said he didn't see anything on my old account that would be worthy of a call and that he didn't recognise the phone number that called me.  After checking some more, he found that I had 2 cents o/s on the account, which supposedly would have generated the call. He waived the 2 cents as a customer service gesture.

This call is from Enbridge Gas.  They are calling people who had closed accounts in the past few years who had an outstanding balance or credit.

In my case I had a credit and wanted to send me some money back.  I'm sure this is the first and last time a utlity will ever call to give me money :-)
