Just received a phone call from 855-612-2909.  The female had a very thick accent that I could hardly understand.  She identified herself as "mumble-mumble" calling from UHCA or something similar to that.  She asked to speak to me by name.  She then asked me to verify my mailing address and SSN so that she could continue with the phone call.  After I repeatedly questioned her about where she was calling from she finally said that she was terminating the phone call because I would not very my information.  Beware!

I just recieved a call from 855-610-2910 and 855-766-9573 and reported they were with Tmobile and were asking for past due balances. A complete scam. Do not provide them with any information. Call Tmobile to verify and they have never even heard of this company.

Same thing here, I called them back and entered the number but they found no match; The voice mail stated to call 1-855-612-1069.

We used to have United Healthcare but my company switch to a diffferent insurance, most probably the reason why I am not getting thorugh has to do with no longer having that insurance.

United Healthcare should be more careful about this automated calls, it is just very bad PR based on the comments I've found here.

I got a voice mail on my cell from caller ID 412-733-8466 requesting me to call back on 855-612-8466. I called the 855-612-8466 and a female recording asked me to enter the number from which I received this message to answer questions for Optum Health (part of United Health Care). The thing is, I have no insurance related to Optum or UHC. A company I worked for over 10 years ago used United Health Care I believe. Needless to say I hung up with out entering my number.

I also got a call stating from Optum Health (part of United Health Care) and had some questions for my wife (the insurance is in my name).  Same phone numbers (caller ID is 412-773-8466) and they requested to call back on 855-612-8466.  Haven't called yet - wanted to research here first, but someone else wrote that they are doing surveys on doctors. That would make sense because the plan we are in prices our premiums lower if we use preferred Doctors that give exceptional care and follow up (her Doctor does) because they found that good Preventive care was much cheaper overall for United Health's costs.

So, I am guessing this is all legit and they want to be sure that the Dr. gave good service.  But it does sound very creepy and suspicious with their message.

I have called United Health care and they have stated that the calls are apart of their services and they do make calls if you are apart of a wellness program, I'm upset because the # they called wasn't even my number and I no longer have that service

They called me too.  And I also have UHC, but thought it was weird that the automated thing asked, after I called back, for my date of birth and zip code.  I hung up and didn't answer them, because it seemed strange.

We just received a phone call from Optuim Health stating that they are working with United Health and to call them back at 1-855-612-1069.  We are not going to call them back or give them any information.

It's an automated satisfaction survey regarding a recent doctor's visit. 855 is a legit new toll-free exchange. They seem to have caller ID when you call back so they will say "is this (your name)". They will ask you to state your date or year of birth, then your zip. Then they ask about 5 questions about your satisfaction with your doctor. The survey is likely triggered by UHC receiving a claim from the dr.

I work for United Health Group and haven't heard about this being anything other than that. I'll repost if I hear otherwise.

I wouldn't give personal info to an automated anything. I'd just call the number back, get them to verify you by THEIR records.

If u go onto myuhc.com u will see....in ur search for a Physician/Specialist the Dr.'s will have a grade aka Stars by their name. The Survey is to get information from ur recent Dr. visit so they can grade the Dr.'s they have Contracts with. Without feedback, they won't know.

Again, I wouldn't give info to a machine, I'd speak to a LIVE person and verify THEM before giving out personal info. U never know where the automated caller is calling from next.

I googled the call-back number because it seemed slightly strange to me.  It sounds like this is just a survey and that they probably haven't gotten the word out to all their customer service reps about it.  I don't think I'll call back, but as someone who works in the survey field I would advise people not to panic about this susidiary or whoever Optum is having your name and phone number.  If they're part of United Healthcare then that's no surprise.  And companies frequently have very out-of-date contact info/phone numbers for their customers.  It's too bad their outgoing message sounds weird and doesn't just say they are conducting a survey.

Received same recorded call from 412-773-8466 caller id as Unitedhealth Group. Not covered by UHC anymore. Not calling back.

I called United Healthcare, they told me this was part of my benefits package that when there is activity on my account, they call to inquire about the quality of service I received.  I've never had this before, but I told the representative to take my number off their list, which she *said* she added to their "Do Not Call" list.

Legit call from the associated company of United Healthcare and United Health Group.  A return call is an autmoated survey regarding satisfaction with your UHC physcian and office.

I just got a call from a job I left 12 years ago saying that they received a message from these people.  Totally shady - not calling them back.

I received the same voice message as noted by many others.  I emailed United Health Care from their website asking if it was a legitimate call.  OptumHealth is working with United Health Care and they are conducting a satisfaction survey about your doctor.  I returned the call and answered the survey questions about my doctor.

I received the voice message. Just ignore it. Don't even call back

Same thing - I called back from a different number than one I received message on, input phone number I received message on, and it could not recognize me - wanted me to call from phone I received message on.  Called United HealthCare, they were not aware of any info needed but confirmed Optum Health was a division of UHC and gave me a different 800 number to call Optum direct.  Called that Optum number and they stated they did not need any info from me, asked if I had had any chiropractic or physical therapy as that is a large chunk of what they do with UHC...of which no one in family has had any care of any sort in last few months, so Optum employee googled the original 855-612-1069 number and stated she did not believe it belonged to their company.

I just received the same message today saying they were Optum Health (part of UHC) which I do currently have.  It was an automated message in a female robotic voice stating they had a few questions to ask me and they had my name.  Thank you for posting.  I will not be calling the number back.  The number they asked me to call was 1-855-612-1069.

The recording does say United Health Group, and when I looked on the Better Business Bureau website it says a.k.a. United Healthcare. OptumHealth is a subsidiary. I saw on the United Health Group website that it's listed on the stock exchange. Gee, just what I want for people controlling the money for my health care.

I got the call. It's from Optum Health and it's legit. I then called the number and the questions are pretty general ones about your doctor and ease of making an appt etc. Optum is part of United Health Group Company of which United Healthcare is also a part.

This one confused me. My mother called me to give me this message -- I havent lived at home in 10 years, and they somehow got my childhood household to leave me this message?

Same as below. Left message on cell phone regarding Philip Barber, who died last December. Strange. tried to call back the number they left and it would't go through. I'm sure this is some kind of scam.. Will not be calling back

I received the same call requesting I call back to the following number 855-612-1069.  I then called Optimum Healthcare to verify that they called and wanted to know why.  The customer service person said that it was fraud.  DO NOT CALL THEM BACK AND PROVIDE ANY INFORMATION.

recieved numerous calls from them saying they are united healthcare. but number does not match up with my cards. wont be calling them back.

I think it's OptumHealth, not Optimum.  They are a real part of United Health group.  If you check their website you can tell.  They are the same parent company thats all.
