I have been trying to pay off my debt so,when I got the phone call i was happy.I have been caling no answer.I decided to put the number on a Google site.First thing I seen was Fraud.Im glad that we have blogs that are true and real.

They called me saying i owed 1800 but i immediatly asked fir the information and he jus sets up. Court dates and this needed to be paid asap. And the call was from restricted and said somthing about restraining order so i pressed 9 to talk to them and they said the same as alot of what the other people have wrote.. I happen to call this company back yesterday they told me i owed on a payday loan for 1800, called back again today after giving them a prepaid debit card i had, but rarely use and they have no notation about that and they told me today it was for a online payday loan, but 1) could not give me the exact company cause they say they are not a debt collection agency and 2) could not provide proof of documentation cause supposedly i already recieved numerous documentation and when i filed complaint to ohio attorney general based on teh phone number i was given on the voicemail to call, they said they are to prove to you in writing documentation regardless of the amount you owe.
I asked if it was LRS Litigation services, the guy said (didnt say his name) once i mentioned LRS quickly intrupted with they are L&R or L&H or something, but notice you call the cell number 219-644-1249 and it says LRS right on it.. watch out for these people...
they don't know the loan company because supposedly the parent company owns so many like cashnow, cash america, check n go, etc (most any agency that is calling you on behalf of a debt should know at least the exact amount and name of the loan company.

I just received a call from a number marked, "unknown." When I picked up the phone, it was a recorded message that stated something about a restraining order was going to be filed against me. I thought that was really weird so I pressed 9 to speak with a representative.
At that time a lady answered and told me that the company she was calling from was called L & R Litigations.
She said that she works with a company that is called Payday Loans. Immediately my stomach sank. Years back I had a boyfriend that ran up many accounts under my name. I was worried that there was one that I didn't know of. She verified my name and last four digits of my social security number.
I then asked what the name of the company that I actually owed money to. They couldn't tell me. All she kept saying was Payday Loans. She explained that I owed $1325 and that if I didn't pay, she was going to forward my account to the legal office. She listed off an address and asked if I still lived there. I said no. She named an employer and asked if I still worked there. I said no. She never asked for my current information. I thought that was a little weird. I then asked for a copy of the original contract. She put me on hold.
At that time a man came on the phone. He said that he had been listening to the call. He said that there were two things that could happen today. The first one would be to place my account in a a payment status or continue forward with the legal proceedings. I again explained that I have not been contacted by this company that I supposedly owed money to. They said that since I don't live at the same address, they couldn't contact me. I said that I have had the same phone number for over 10 years and they didn't call me.
I then asked this guy for his name. He said it was Brandon Charles. The number to call back was 855-626-5688. At this time I again asked for a copy of the contract. I told him that I would give him my current email address. He didn't take it. He told me that there wasn't a contract anymore. Now I knew that it was a scam. I asked him how I was going to get sued if there wasn't a contrat. He stumbled over his words. I was screaming at him by this point. He then called me sweetheart. I was floored! I said, "are you kidding me!! I am NOT your sweetheart!"
I he talked about a settlement. I immediatly said that I am not paying on an account that I didn't think was mine. He said that he wasn't asking me for money. I said what do you mean??? You are talking about a settlement. He said lets talk about what you are going to do about the $505 today. I explained that IF I really had an account with this company, it was probably from a boyfriend I had years back that ran up my accounts. He asked if I had a police report. I said no, I just payed them off. He said that's too bad because this has to be taken care of today and that it's too late to call the police and that I was going to have to pay for it. I now knew FOR SURE that it was a scam!
I said, it's too bad you didn't get my current info because how are you going to know where to send the supena? I was laughing at him. He said that they would hire a PI to find me. I said that they were pretty stupid to go about it that way. I would have probably offered up the info at the beginning of the conversation, but certainly not now! (I will think twice about this next time)
I said, "so you are telling me that you are going to hire a PI to find me so that you can serve papers to me, take me to court without any contract and without any records of any atemp to contact me in the last 5 years and win??? Go ahead!!!"
He started yelling at me that he will see me in court! I told him to have a good day and hung up!

I just received a call on my cell phone from a young lady who said I had an unpaid debt and would be sued or subpoened for. She transferred me to a guy named Jeff Miller who went on to say its for an unpaid loan from payday loans and more but did not want to give me the companies contact information after I expressed I had no idea what he was talking about. He said the loan was now 1500 and they would settle with me for 501 over the phone with my credit card. They had all my identifying information including last 4 digits of my ssn. He transferred me to another woman to take my payment. No one wanted to provide me with a reference # or information regarding this debt or give me an opportunity to research it because I had no idea what they were talking about. They threatened to call my job or have an office serve me with a subpoena. They first called me blocked and provided this number as a call back for after my payment processing. Now they are calling me from 216-287-9494 non-stop. These people have to be stopped!!

I took tons of info down on these jerks " L&R Litigations" that are trying to scam folks. I did reverse lookups on all the phone numbers and have screen shots of the better business bureau reports of this same company. Am going to follow up with my local authorities and any other agency that might listen so hopefully they can catch them.

The Internet Crime Complaint Center has received many complaints from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams. Callers claim the victim is delinquent in a payday loan and must repay the loan to avoid legal consequences. The callers purport to be representatives of the FBI, Federal Legislative Department, various law firms, or other legitimate-sounding agencies. They claim to be collecting debts for companies such as United Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Net, and other Internet check-cashing services.
According to complaints received from the public, the callers have accurate data about victims, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, employer information, bank account numbers, and the names and telephone numbers of relatives and friends. How the fraudsters obtained the personal information varies, but in some cases victims have reported they completed online applications for other loans or credit cards before the calls started.
The fraudsters relentlessly call the victim?s home, cell phone, and place of employment. They refuse to provide any details about the alleged payday loans and become abusive when questioned. The callers have threatened victims with legal actions, arrests, and, in some cases, physical violence if they do not pay. In many cases, the callers harass victims? relatives, friends, and employers.

L & R Ligitations called me today at work and said, I had a payday loan but could not give me the name of the company but it was referred to them Pay Day Loans. Ive never taken out a payday loan and they were going to file a civil complaint.

I received a call from 855-626-5688. I called back and some guy answered the phone while yawning. That's when I knew that it was a scam. He hung up on me then they called back. I spoke with a woman that could not tell me the name of the payday loan company that supposedly showed me owing a debt. I asked her for the payday loan company number and she gave me the same number that she called me from!!
When I told her to hold and that I was calling the police she hung up on me. Do NOT give them any information!!!

I just received a call from this company threatening to sue me for a pay loan from pay day more. I asked him to provide information and he said i did lol, i said to him well im not going to take responsibility for a debt that im unaware of he said so i guess we will have to proceed with legal action i said well i guess so. im not paying a company that cant provide me proof that i owe a debt. he said the amount was for 1500 dollars and that i shouldnt really be worried about the money i should be worried about my social security number and what will be on my credit report. Called me today at work and said, I had a payday loan but could not give me the name of the company but it was referred to them Pay Day Loans. The original debt was $300 but now it's $1,000 and I had 24hr to research the debt and get back to them. The young lady said, her name was Lisa Smith with L & S Litigation.
