These asshats have been calling me at my work for weeks, sometimes twice a day. I'm a teacher. Fortunately, their calls go straight to voicemail during the teaching day. I was going to call them back just to see what their problem is, but now I'm not going to bother. I just told the office staff to tell them that my voicemail is not working...  The message I always get seems to be a recording, anyway, so we're not sure how that is going straight to voicemail. ::sigh::

They are calling looking for someone that wasn't me.

I made payment arrangements with Boston Block National Associates associated with this phone number thinking they were a valid collection agency.  For some reason I could not get a hold of them this month so I called the original credit card company they informed me this account has been sold a few time to different collection agencies and they informed me they have not received any payment from this agency I guess if they bought the account they would keep the money. Thinking I have been paying off account now I am thinking I have getting scram after reading all of the other reviews.  I have called my bank to see if they have any information they have no phone number assocted wiht bbna diffently rasing red flags in my head now.. I will be contacting my lawyer on this some how I will need to get my money back if I can I am so upset about this I am a smart person I should of know something was up when there payment letter was not on a business letter head just a print out on the computer.  I will be investigating this now I am out of a little over $300.00 I hope I am wrong about this.  Waiting hear from my lawyer!

Call all the time I SUSPECT these are Intermediaries working out of bankers trash basket hoping to collect fees on debts the bank has already written off as a loss.

Try to scare you by saying they are process server...In my state all process servers have to post 100,000 dollar bond so hospital can collect if they get shot..so doubtful if they are even legal in the jurisdiction I reside in.

I pre screen all calls most are parasites that do not even have approval or authority To work on my accounts.

Got a call from this number saying i was being sued unless i paid them today. What a joke. Ignore these people.

On March 27th 2012, my office manager received a call from Boston Block International - asking for a good address to serve me papers.  She took their number and case number for me to call them back.  When I returned their message, they had all my personal information (home address, ss#, etc).  I spoke with Cameron and Robert Lee - they claim that I am being sued by Chase Credit Card from 2001 and they need to serve me papers and needed me to provide them with a good address. They were kind of enough to offer to meet me outside of work to save me the embassment of being served at work. Robert Lee claimed that if I didn't resovle this matter over the phone, a judgement will be placed on me.  Also, he told me to call back in the next few days to schedule a place and time to meet to serve me papers. It's a total scam and like many others stated previously, the statue of limitations in California is 4 years. Lastly, he could not provide me with the charges or any other significant information pertaining to his allegations.

I just got off the phone with "Boston Block" and was advised I owed money on a US bank checking acct I had 2 years ago. They were able to verify my old check account number I had on my account. I remembered this issue with the bank and since the bank did not want to help me, I asked if they could work out a payment plan since I didn't have the entire lump sum. We came to a monthly payment plan and I'm happy to finally have this issue resolved!

I was advised by my attorney friend if they are able to produce the correct account number then they have the right to collect.

I just received a call from a PROCESS SERVER in my town. Telling me that they were looking for me at my old place of employment. Saying that they needed a statement from me, because there is a class action lawsuit against my old employer & my name had been given to them. Told me to call the BBNA and talk to a "Mr. Robert Lee" about a case number. Since reading all these entries, I am not calling. Thank you for letting others know!!! I appreciate it.

These people keep calling my husbands cell phone. We have no clue how they even got the number. They claim we have a debt from back in 2007 for $1170 which is bogus!  They have an old address on file for us and threatening military action against my husband saying they are going to "charge him under Article 31 in the UCMJ."  To all those that are military affilitated, a debt collector cannot place any MILITARY LEGAL action against you.  They can charge you in civilian court with a civil suit, but nothing more.  "Tony Lee" is the name of the guy that keep harrassing us and "Robert Lee" is the name under the e-mail letter we received. They refuse to send us anything in the mail.

Also, I called the Corona California Police Department to verify the company "Boston Block National Associates" and they have no listing.  I gave them the address and it came up as a local Post Office.  Nice to know that while my husband is fighting for your freedom, you jerks use it to scam others.  What a pos you are!  We have also reported them to our local Judge Advocate Office and made a police report for harrassement at the police departments both on and off our military installation.  I suggest you all report them as well.

I meant to say "it is NOT illegal" to try and collect on this debt if the SOL has expired.

The first thing I did was pull my free
credit report. Consumer are entitled to an annual report from all 3 a
cies by the government.  I knew I had not had any bad debts in years, but my computer had been hacked a year ago so I checked to make sure.  Then, verify the Statute of Limitation in your state.(TX is 4 years).  If it has passed theSOL...they can no longer sue you or take legal action against you.  If by chance they contact a third party and tell them about any legal action...that in itself is illegal.  And any legitimate agency knows this.  Though the SOL may hv expired, it is NOTlegal to try to collect on this debt.  As long as there are buyers and sellers(and3rd party debt collecting is a billion $ business) they can continue to try.  I suggest a ceast and desist lette letter sent certified.  Do Not gv them credit card or bank info over the phn! Until they verify this debt in writing they legally cannotsue. The second you make a payment, even if it's 5.00, the SOLclock starts over!  If they hv the phn numbers of family,employers or friends, the odds are they know where you live and shld hv been able to get you the debt notice way bfore any legal action was or is necessary.  These are scare tactics to get people to pay debts they may not have to.  While I don't condone not paying ones debts, some of the tactics used to scare consumers is disgusting.

I had a message on my machine from Alissa Morena ofP3E8 Nationwide Court also saying that a complaint had been filed against me and that I should call back asap. She also gave me a reference number.

I called the number at 3 a.m. figuring no one would answer and they would tell me the name of the company.
They did and it was Boston Block.

Get this...my work received a call yesterday stating that there was a complaint filed against me and that they were going to serve me at work and if we had a policy against serving employees!

I don't owe anyone that is behind in payment, I haven't hurt anyone or have done anything to be in this situation!  I tried to call but got an answering machine for Boston Block.  I left a message.  We'll see what happens but I am very upset that these people called my office about it.

I received a call from a Micheal Rhodes from Loan Star Process & Delivery, with the same 855-627-8551 on my cell phone regarding a lawsuite again my son who does not live with me. Don't know how they got my cell phone but it pissed me off because only my friends and family have this number.

I called my son and he tells me its all a SCAM!!!! Don't worry about it. He also told me that my son-in-law also got a call last summer as well as my son again this passed summer.

Do not call these people back they are shadowning data from your phones(if you have cable, wireless.) Their number shows as Private Number on your cell phones. THIS IS ALL A SCAM. I hope no one will fall for it.  If you do call and they tell you to call them back with an 855 area code just hang up and don't give them anymore info.

These people called me 7 months ago, saying I owe a pass credit card, they even called my moms house, they wanted payment over the phone, and said I had 1 day to get the money or I would have a person come to my house that friday in the hours between 1-4 to be served with court papers, that never happend, now 8 months later just got a call with same people ...funny thing is this credit card was 10 years ago, just seems to fishy, I will not call them back !!!!!!!

Called my father trying to fish for info. Luckily my father did not have any of my information. Definitely a fishing scam!!!

Trust me, if someone wants to serve you, they never call first, you just get servered... period!! Do not call back.

I received a phone call from Donald Woods of Boston Block National Association from 855-627-8551 stating they needed to talk to me about a claim someone had filed against me.  I received the call while out of town, so upon returning I returned the phone call.  I got a message stating all their agents were busy and to leave my name and number and case number (which I did) and am waiting for a return call.  They had both my current married name and my previous married name from (12 years ago).  If this is a collection company as a lot of people online seem to insinuate, then they should have done their homework before wasting their time in calling me.  We filed Chapter 7 Bankruptcy 1 year ago and were discharged in January.  We owe no - one other than current debt we have incurred on purpose over the last 6 months to rebuild our credit.    I will talk to them just to see what they want, but they will not get any money from me.  Also, it is rather daunting to get the mysterious phone messages that they leave

i myself had a debt with them very nice people...i at first thought it was fraud but they gave me the credit card number i had taken out even provided me with the number to the bank they did verify it...i payed my debt they release me from it send me my letter and updated it as paid in full in my credit report as agreed.....
