This number has tried the same as above with my husband for months.  Now a msg was left at my parents house for my husband giving our address, a claim/order # and that charges are against him and he should call for mediation.  When they first called, my husband told him he did not order anything and send some proof and they would not, nothing received but they keep getting more information.  Be careful what you might share with these people.

Received a restricted call on my husband's cell three times in a row.  I answered the third time. The woman said she wanted to speak with him about an order he placed.  I told her he wasn't there, and she asked me to take a message. I was given an 855 number and a claim number and told that he had some charges pending against him.  It was a "very important legal matter," and now she considers him notified.  She tried to get our address information and my name, but I didn't give it.  She also first said she represented the law offices of somewhere, but when I asked her to repeat it so I could write it down, she changed her tune and said she works for a lot of different companies.  

This sounds like a scam. Any other collection agency is quick to tell you where they are calling from.

message was for Donnie Malmquist, my son, saying he had an order that needed paid for, later she said it was a claim against him.
The caller wanted employer, address, etc. She also gave a 6 digit claim number...for what and from whom, I don't know.

This woman stated that the call was for my son, wanting address and place of employment. Gave phone # and case # and said that he has been notified. Does not say who from or what it is concerning.
It leads you to believe that it is a court law suit. Had I of not called this phone # I would have not known what was going on. I hope you are correct about it being a scam.

never said what "claim" they were referring to.

It is a scam place trying to scare people into giving out the account information.
