Got a call from someone identifying themselves as being from Bank of America alerting me that a relative had forged three checks on an account of mine that has been closed since 2012.  I've alerted BOA and given then the telephone number.  I advise you to do the same,

Just so you know it isn't a scam- that is their deposit verification. Although there are people who call and are fraud, not all people are fraud- they help prevent it.

Not to sound racist or anything like that.  But Jenny sounded black and she also called me yesterday and left me another number to call 904-475-5242 it is a mobile number from NY.  Yes this is a total scam of some sort.  But the question I have is how did she know the date & amount & name on a check that we wrote in CA.

Just got a call from Jenny from BofA stated that she wanted to know about a check we wrote for 4000.00 to Jimmy Young.  I told her that the check already cleared. she said thank you & hung up.

I got the same call saying Bank of America, asking transaction details.....feel very suspicious.  Don't tell them more...

A guy left a voicemail saying someones name, supposed to be mine? And said I needed to call him directly back with another phone number he left saying bank of america had a check deposited and they had a question?

said that our Bank of America account has been 'compromised' etc....  BS - this is a scam
