No, its a scam, please don't call them back.  Even if the debt actually exists, and you actually owe it, this is not a legitimate collection agency.  Debt is a civil matter, not a criminal matter.  They don't get a warrant and arrest anyone for debt.  You can be sued for debt, but the plaintiff just files suit, they don't warn you ahead of time.  These criminals making the calls want people to panic and pay them because they are scared.

Should you be concerned?  Probably.  These thieves are very persistent and don't obey the FDCPA law.  They may call family, friends, neighbors, and your employer and co-workers with there terrible fake stories.  Eventually they will go away, but be prepared to explain to people you are being harassed by criminals who are engaged in fraud

This person called my job under the same area code too. They asked for HR at my company before finding out it was me. Really scared me so I called the 855 number with the claim number and they told me I owed a debt. I do owe a debt so I thought this was real and gave them my information. Luckily I said to start payments in a couple weeks and not yet. I have contacted my bank to not accept payment from here. They were really threatening. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR INFORMATION! I made a huge mistake, dont do the same!

My HR manager contact my supervisor today. They claim to be a law office and left a claim number to contact them. This scam has happen to be again. My HR manager did not say the name of the company.

I got the same call today, and they called my ex-wife as well of 2 years and my office.  They call from what appears to be a local number and then give me the 855-638-3571 number to call along with a claim number.  My office told them not to call my place of business anymore as well.  Here name was Judy.

I have recieved several calls from different parts of the country. The person identifies herself as Bianca Barnes and indicates that I have a claim against me and provides me with a claim number and instructs me to call 855- 638-3571. Bianca also call my ex-wife, we were divorced 20 years ago and my Manager at work. I have reported the calls to the state Attorney General's office who in turn reported to the FTC. The investigator from the states attorney call the 855 number and inquired as too what the business was. They are a prelitigation firm, whatever that is. The investigator asked a number of questions and was ultimately hung up on. I was advised to ignore the calls, whichI am, but they won't give up. They indicate they will serve me at work, which is a highly secured area, they can't get to me. Security has notified the local police who will arrive when and if they attempt to serve me.

This person contacted my manager and relative to illegally disclose that a law firm is going to file a claim against me. They said that I am to contact Consolidated immediately at 855-638-3571 and gave a claim number. They called from a telephone number with the area code of my job, and an area code based on my relative's and I number, which are different. Consolidated would not confirm that they could legally collect anything from me and said I would be served with papers from a locator. Then they said good luck and hung up on me.

These people are harassing my mom and leaving messages everywhere for me. I feel like I don't have any rights. Someone please help me.

This person is calling using a fake voice in a threatening manner saying that someone I know that doesn't live here has been served. The phone number that they are calling from is 425-310-6975 and Jordan Davis 855-638-3571.

Got the same thing today. Not sure what to do or say. Should I call the number back?

Just got a call from a "private locator" who asked for my husband and then proceeded to tell me that I had claim filed against me and charges were pending.  I needed to call 855-638-3571 and reference a claim number to get this taken care of.  Although the man on the phone sounded American, I am VERY hesitant to accept anything these clowns tell me when they will not email or fax the information they supposedly sent me in the mail.  I've been taken by scammers before and it won't happen again!

Called me on my cell phone about someone I know stating they were pressing charges.  This has to stop, NOW!

It is a company could Consolidated.  I would assume it is a debt collector.
