I get it, I defaulted on my debt due to unemployment. I AM willing to pay it back but that's not my issue.

My issue is on how rude, ignorant, and ludicrous the woman "Oliva" is. Threatening to serve me papers from "the Firm". When I said, "Fine, serve me the papers but let me confirm the address," she refused to. If I'm willing to accept these papers, shouldn't you confirm the address is the same? Besides, I have moved since I defaulted; the information I assume she has is outdated, but a proper legal firm would know this, not some "Department of Investigations" for a credit collections company.

I got the call today too. I wonder if it is connected to the Target thing. The guy said his name was Brandon Murphy and was clearly trying to scare me in the message he left. The number he called from came across as blocked and he said to call 855.642.4056 and reference a case number. He said he was representing a "firm" who had a case against me and that I had been notified in a stern voice. He also had my name wrong.  I will not be calling them!

Rude possible scam wanted me to confirm address and employment and ss# when I called the (855) number back and refused to give me any info or tell me what they were calling about unless I gave the info.....I hung up...pretty sure it's a scam to get info

The "firm" says its name is Consolidated.  That is it... they are also connected to a woman that says she is trying to serve me papers from "the firm" but won't tell me what it is.  She gives a ref# to call them, they say I have a payday loan and want me to pay it - almost $3K.  ALL is a scam.  The woman that calls me says her name is Judy WInters (843) 253-0344 and when you call this number it says it is the "Dept. of Investigation and does not accept calls"... It you continue to google all of this you will see the similarities all over the web... DO NOT let it get to you and DO NOT pay any money!!!

Now they are calling my sisters house looking for me. I have never gave her number out to no one other thany daughters school for emergency contact.  I hate scamers and how do they manage to get your family members phone numbers. OMG!!!! I amd worried now how do u stop them.

Yes, I just received the same call, but from 917-475-2642.  He said to call the "firm" at 855-642-4056.  He said his name was Brandon Murphy and he was looking for one of my family members.  Very vague otherwise.
