Yep, that sounds like the common denominator-GULF COAST CLEAN-UP FOLLOW-UP. I tool was a private contractor for the Oil Spill efforts. I have been receiving mail correspondence from the Deep Sea Horizon/BP Oil Spill people. They are still trekking any health effects for the workers on site of operations. Don't call US- Just Send US the Check!

Received call on 8/1/13 around 5:45pm ... caller ID displayed no # and only "out of area"
Answered, but lots of static - asked for # to call back and was given 855-644-4853
Call again on 8/2/13 around 2:15 ... same caller ID display; same call-back #, stating it was "Gulf Studies".
When called back, the # rings one time, then goes to 'dead air' ... no-one answers, no machine etc etc.
The Nat'; Institute of Health (NIH) is doing a study, and the site shows this # .... but when you've already participated and there is no reason for follow-up, this is becoming 'phishy'.  May be legit, maybe not.

Got this call at least once a day for the last week, I do not think this is a legit survey or anything tied to the federal government. I've told them to stop calling me several times and that I live no where near the gulf nor was I involved with the cleanup. Seriously I live in freakin' Montana but they will not stop calling me!!!

Called and asked to speak to my Operations Manager. We were one of the companies that worked for the BP Oil Spill so I'm assuming that's how they got out information. Probably want to see how we were affected by the spill or if any health concerns have arose. I have no clue but I'll just keep taking messages, we don't participate in surveys here. Waste of valuable time and this is a 24 hour response company, don't need unnecessary calls jamming up the phone lines.

Says they are doing a study on the Gulf Oil spill. Asking for someone else in the voicemail. I finally called them back to have my number removed and they said that they couldn't. Sounds like a scam, just won't answer anymore.

When I got my new cell phone number I inherited the previous owner of the same number's bill collector calls. I've called this telemarketer/bill collector to take me off their list. I don't know the person they are trying to call. I'm also on the national no call list.

Apparently you or your telephone number was somehow associated with the Gulf clean up from the Deep Horizon spill.  They are wanting you to participate in a phone survey.
