I did not recognize the number until I saw the mention of UMB - then I realized who it was - I have since added their name to the number in my so I know it's them next time.  I left my note so anyone that reads through this website, like I do on any calls I don't recognize, they can see what my experience was - that it was not an phisher.  I never asmwer my phone if I don't know the number. If they leave a message I have the option of calling back or not.  I have got some good tips off of here about spammers - like the free vacation people - If I recognize the entity after coming here - I will post the good, bad, or ugly of my experience - this was the first time I had that opportunity - and I agree with your advise!

And if you're so satisfied with them, why did you feel the need to come post here - on a forum for unknown/spam/scam calls?  

Folks - if you receive a call from someone asking for personal information such as SSN, ALWAYS call the number on the back of your card.

UMB Bank and Finance handles the Quik Trip convenience store and gas station credit card, among others I'm sure. If I fall behind on a payment they call to see if I can make arrangements to pay, such as schedule a payment on my pay day. They just ask for enough info to be sure they have the right person on the phone, such as my street address, or QT card number. I give them my Visa number and my payment comes out when I schedule it and no sooner.  I also pay them with an online account  I gave them my cell number when I signed up for the card.  They have always been nice folks just doing their job.  Thanks.

I keep getting calls from this number, five times from 3pm-6pm.
I answered a few days ago and told them to STOP Calling.
Again yesterday after about the third call told them to STOP calling.
If this isn't harrassment I sure don't know what is

I keep getting these calls as early as 8 am thru 9pm, even on Sunday, I have blocked them from my phone but very frustrating that they call all the time.

I got the same call - UMB bank - but the customer service at UMB says they never call - they notify by email or mail.  If you get an get an app called Mr. Number - it rocks at blocking all of these types of calls - if they call you over and over, it automatically just hangs up.

Keep getting these calls on a daily basis. I do not answer  numbers I do not recognize. My Visa bill is paid so I see no reason to answer them, and they don't really have a reason to call me if my bill is paid on time. Getting REAL tired of the harassment.

16 messages came to my cell phone voicemail - with dates spanning two months....12 different people saying my name from UNB Bank- very fast. I called number and the first thing I was asked was for my credit card number.
I had used my card at Target in Dec. Wonder if this is phishing from that information since I don't use that bank or card any more.

Fraud call-stated from umb bank.  Female caller on the last one. Don't usually answer, but was wondering what crud they were selling.  We get at least 5-6 calls almost every day.  Be careful.  They need to be shut down these types of scams and frauds!

They said they were with UMB wanted my address, DOB, and last 4 of ssn#, very suspicious so I told them no I wasn't going to give them that and hung up.  Not Sure who it was but was not worth risking anything.

This is the UMB Visa courtesy department. You might have forgot to pay/missed your payment. I have dealt with them before. They only ask for your SS# or card# to look up the account. UMB has a lot of cards and they need to see they are talking to the right person.  

I get calls from this number at least 6 times a day.  I look at the caller ID and don't answer.  I did answer a couple of times when I was so angry but there was dead silence.  

I get a call from this # every morning. Looks suspicious, so I haven't answered, but they keep calling!

Got a call from this # at 7:51 AM  Didn't recognize the #, so I didn't answer it.

Caller left message stating they were UMB Bank and left callback number.  When I returned the call, I was placed on hold with inappropriate music and when a so called rep came on the line she immediately asked for my 16 digit card number.  I highly questioned the person and asked them questions and then I requested a supervisor who wanted my SSN, DOB and address.  When I refused she told me to call the number on the back of my card and told me she could provide that number if I needed it.  I asked several times what the call was about and they refused to give me any info, except they were with collections.  They told me if I didn't verify the info, the would just keep calling.  

Zombie debt collector. If they want info, they can talk to your attorney.  Give them nothing except attorney's contact info, if must speak to them. Do not 'verify' yourself.  It's a trap. Attorney info only.

They keep calling and leacing voicemails, they are wtih a bank i never heard do before.

This number is a FRAUD call.  Do not give them any information!  I learned the hard way they were not UMB credit card company checking on my call.  They asked for my card number and they asked for my social security.
Sounded very professional - don't fall for it!

Received phone call from this number.  Said they were with R-Calf credit card and wanted to verify birth date, ssn, etc before continuing the call.  We told them not to call again.  They called about 15 times in a two-day period.  A phone call to R-Calf revealed the phone call did not originate with them.
