I just called the Missouri  Attorney General's office. They told me it was a scam. They said that it is considered a "spoof" number and they high-jack another number in the states and it is then re-routed to another country, even though they do not have accents. DO NOT give them any information. Take down as much of their information; names, numbers, business names, ect. CALL YOUR ATTORNEY GENERAL"S OFFICE!

I call B***S***.  I think this knucklehead works for the infringing collection agency and is just sreading misinformation to scare people into submitting to their demands.

 A debt collector CAN FILE A LAWSUIT against you for the amount they say you owe. They CANNOT HAVE YOU ARRESTED OR THROWN IN JAIL and it is illegal for them to threaten to do so.

 DON'T give these jokers any bank or credit card info over the phone.

 Ask for the name of the company, address, the caller name, fax and phone number, amount owned, and the name of the creditor who passed your account to them.  Tell them you want all future correspondence in writing. You need to send this request via a certified mail and request a return receipt. If you want to allow calls only between 5pm and 6pm, tell them about it in the letter. By law collection companies are required to respect your privacy and will have to cease all phone calls to your home, relatives, neighbors, and work.

If the debt is not legitimate dispute it IN WRITING by certified mail. If you do owe the money, pay it, but again do not give them ANY personal information over the phone.

This number is now being used by Proactive Skin Treatment company trying to do a survey regarding a product recall they have.     I am not a Proactive customer now,  and haven't been for over a year.    She was very nice and said thank you for calling us back.

Threatening all sorts of crap but won't put anything in writing in any way, shape, or form.  In order to process through court it has to be in writing and a paper/document trail established.  Scare tactics is all this is from people with too much time on their hands.

I got the same call fromthis inspector guy. He would never give me any information or anything in writing to prove he was legit. He only threaten to come to my job and serve me. Not my house and I don't even know how he knows I even have a job!

I received numerous calls from this number from an inspector stating if I didn't call him back regarding a pay day loan from 2 years ago that i would be served at my job. He kept insisting I give him my debit card information and payit off right away. I kept asking for the company name and who he worked for but he wouldn't give me that information. He would call form a PRIVATE number each time and leave me a message to call 855-652-5036 He even called my mothers home phone in another state. So I contacted the actually loan place where I borrowed the loan from. Tehy had sold my loan to a collection agency who I contacted and made monthly payments to and got a letter in writing from them. I don't know who this inspector Jones is but I would give him your credit card information,

Ha ha! I called the number again after business hours and it went to a voicemail. Wow! They want to call and harrass you yet you can only get through to them AFTER business hours.

I received a message from the same person. He even went to the extent of calling my mother and leaving a message. He also left the same number. Why the hell would you leave a phony number if you are legit?!? These people are really crazy! Thanks for the info!

I received a call from "Inspector Jones" warning me I had 24 hours to call him back and take care of a very serious matter. He called from a "Private" number and called several times every couple of minutes. Finally, he left the message after I wouldn't answer the phone. I NEVER respond to these hacks. They call me every couple of weeks and no one has been to my work place or home. In fact, if they did show up at my work, I will tear the paperwork up and hand it back to them. Not paying a pay day loan is not a criminal act. If I don't pay something I owe...do like any other business, report it to the credit bureau. As a matter of fact, the pay day loan was hitting my account two days earlier than was on the contract, they defaulted, not me...and they cost me $70 in bank fees for hitting my acct twice before the contract date.

I got a message from someone who told me to call them back at 855-652-5036. However, when i call it back it is an invalid number. Did either of you get this?
